That reminds us of how the 2022-2023 season would be compressed due to holding the World Cup in Nov/Dec. The various domestic leagues would have to reach the half way point of their seasons around the first week of November or last week of October in that year.

Like I said earlier, Save your bias anti Fabregas agenda. Matic left,so did costa leave as well, matic alone could have left and we wouldnt feel his impact, just as we didn't feel his absence in the game that took us to the top of league in the previous season which ensured we won the league. You shouldn't forget our victory at Etihad without matic so easily. Pep Guardiola, Mourinho were obviously not blind to his weaknesses,the same assists which I keep seeing and which you keep playing blind to is why they signed him. Claiming Fabregas regressed any of team as no basis and I wont address it .

Chelsea have always qualified for UCL even with Torres, 40 year old Eto and Demba Ba as striker except when Fabregas was manning the midfield.

Costa was useless for Chelsea.from January 2017 after the China incident yet Chelsea still won league easily.

Costa leaving is not the reason Chelsea dropped to 5th from 1st. It might be the reason we didn't win the league. Without Costa we should be finishing 3rd at least that season. The reason is the liability in midfield, same reason Monaco started drilling for oil.

In 2015, with Costa as striker, Fabregas managed to take Chelsea to 10th position.

I wonder who is the Costa in Monaco. All Monaco needed was to boot that liability for some Mali nigga in midfield to return to the top. Monaco striker is Kevin Volland of all people.
