Please guys I'm quite paranoid, that is why I've been asking some kind questions these days. I don't want to miss out the opportunity of being in Italy this year. The thing is, I'm currently working (not a major work though), and I intend resigning from my work this month ( after collecting this months salary) so as to start processing my travelling from next month (July). The problem is that I have gotten admission and pre enrolled, but I have not authenticated my documents at Abuja. In fact I have not done anything else apart from pre enrollment, I intend starting on July after I must have resigned from my job. My question is, do you think it would be too late to start authenticating, translating, legalization etc from July? My school will resume during the first week of September so I'm worried if I'd be able to complete everything, apply for visa before the resumption of my school. Please guys what do you advise?

You have like 3 months before class start, all these process you are talking about if you have your money ready you can complete the whole process within a month. MoFA and MoE authentication and translating documents can be done within a week, DoV can be gotten from embassy within a week, applying for visa is just booking appointment with vfs, after almost 2 weeks you wilm get a reply. My personal advice regarding job is dont quit it because you dont have guarantee of visa, when you get visa then quit your job. Hope that's helpful.

I did my online pre-enrollment and got automatic saying I should wait they have seen my application..that they will response to me for over a month I haven't heard from them which I sent them mail but they were telling me to wait...since there were to many application for it that's is what is delaying it ........my question is can that pre-enrollment equally be done at the embassy...Please help a brother

They have to put signature and sticker at the back all academics documents in Abuja at the Ministry of education. Translating your documents can be done anyhow, just make sure the documents are authenticated and translated before legalisation.

For anyone that wants to authenticate their documents in Abuja, you can message me.

I have a contact who works at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja.

So he can help anyone that wants to do authentication by proxy at MoE & MFA without that person having to travel.

Best of luck guys. Italian visa will be yours this year by the grace of God.

You need to collect your BSc transcript from your University. Then you will need to authenticate it in Abuja.
Then translate it.

Finally, you may then go back to the Consulate to legalize your BSc transcript.

You do NOT need to legalize other docs again.
After legalizing your transcript, you will then receive your DoV.

Without DoV, it may be impossible to enrol in your chosen University or Poly.

Thanks for this clarification. What about certificates and others. I learnt that at the Ministry of Education and foreign affairs one needs to authenticate o'level, bsc, trancript amd birth certificates.

Also, doesn't one need to translate the legalized documents as well?
