olayinkajnr: Well, I used to flash custom ROMs back in the days of Tecno H6, Y6, and F1. One reason I did was how shitty their OS was (prolly still is), as well as the craving for extra features on my phone. Rooting was a necessity then, but I haven't rooted any phone in over 3 years now. For someone who is used to the bells and whistles on a custom skin, adjusting to stock Android or any stock-like rom which lacks many of these features might prove difficult, hence my stance People whom I know port to ROMs like AOSP do so because of some supposed smoothness and bug-free-ness. While I understand their sentiments, it is not enough reason to sacrifice the sweet animations, features, and overall beautiful UI of skins such as MIUI, EMUI, Funtouch OS, Color OS, etc. |

GrandMufti: Just being optimistic, boss. I don't complain over meagre issues such as this one. There's even another bug that makes the pill remain visible in landscape fullscreen, yet I'm not bothered. |

Mustiboy:The issue has been escalated now, I don't even now whether it is update or not. Is there anyway I could revert back to MIUI 12.0.3. THANKS |

PATAlolade: You might want to change your battery. Does your battery last a lot when it gets to around 15% or 5%? |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by PATAlolade(m): 10:01pm On Jun 13, 2021 |
Mustiboy:No It last around 5% when I put it on Ulta Saving Mode |

PATAlolade: Charge full and drain till 0%. Don't charge in between usage. Report your Screen-On-Time afterwards. I suspect bad calibration. |

aysnoopy: I don't think this is a problem, you probably missed 1 or 2 updates even before acquiring the phone. Old updates merge with the new one most times. |

Can someone please assist me with steps to install global Rom of miui 12.7 on my mi 11 The Chinese Rom it is currently running on is messing up my whatsapp and contact app. Whatsapp calls do not wake the phone up. My call history displays numbers instead of contact names for the number saved on my phone. I really need to switch to global Rom asap. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 6:41am On Jun 14, 2021 |
aysnoopy: You do the required one first then the latest. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 6:42am On Jun 14, 2021 |
koolvin12: Global ROM is on 12.5 not 12.7 as for this it is not simple steps. You will need to unlock your bootloader and flash the Global Fastboot ROM. Go to the tweaking thread for steps or hit up Olayinkajnr for guidance. 2 Likes |
