But he was in a champions league winning team that would have helped his resumé for a coach to bat an eye

Being on a champions league winning team doesn’t mean you should automatically make England squad

There are more players who didnt make the squad and they did better than odoi

Uefa should have respected the mental well being of the Danish players and respected Eriksen himself by postponing that match, what they showed was that cared more about money than the well being of the players

I never said he was better than people who are currently in the team.

My point is at least that’s what something he got ZUMA and the likes this far.

I was really skeptical about sterling but after the first match all my doubts about him dropped.

If it were to be last year it would have been possible to post the match. The euros has been postponed by a year 2020 to 2021. There’s not much time.

League is resume is around the corner World Cup next.

Look at what is happening in America they’re mixing copa America and qualifiers games now.

Just cut them a slack the schedule is tough as it is.

Wow wow no decent human would sanction the Danish players to play on the very same day after what they witnessed on the pitch, schedule toughness is not a good reason

Decent human being or not, you know the governing body will have to make a decision and the end of the day,

this event brought in views for the Euros something
they badly needed attention and more tv revenue you want them to throw away the hype from this and postpone the match, Erickson unfortunate incident has brought in more good than harm.

And at the end of the day making profits is what matters.

You can’t tell everyone to go home because of one player.

Players has died and broken bones on the pitch and still game continues.

Who made that rulesometimes we keep supporting stupid policies made not because of the progress of football but quest to market players from their academics to European clubs

We all know that this cadet teams tourney is an opportunity for the vultures in NFF to make money from players signings the inclusion of a foreign born obviously will short change them of at least a spot they would have make money from

Same reason why manu garba refuse play the chelsea prodigy that turned out for the under 17

Nigeria is caused with this corruption thing, the earlier we start voicing out the better for us

One of the assistant coaches of Nigeria's U15 national
team, Bunmi Blair has explained why Barcelona prodigy
David Obinna might not be considered for a call-up to
any of Nigeria's youth teams despite being eligible.
The 2009-born center forward erased any doubt about
his ability after starring in last month's LaLiga Promises
Santander Tournament won by Barcelona, netting three
goals on the opening day before scoring a decisive
penalty against Atlético Madrid in the quarterfinals.
Blair, Golden Eaglets chief scout at the 2019 FIFA U17
World Cup, says Nigeria Football Federation higher-ups
have given a directive to the youth team coaches to
concentrate on grooming homegrown players rather than
inviting foreign-born dual-eligible players to the youth
setup.
The NFF's decision could see the Spanish Federation
get a head start over their African rivals in the race for
the services of Obinna, who speaks Spanish fluently.
Asked if Obinna is a player of interest to the Nigeria
youth team coaches, Blair told allnigeriasoccer.com : "I
doubt if Obinna is on the radar of the Nigeria U13
coaches though I can't speak for them.
"I know the policies of the Nigeria Football Federation,
the Nigeria Football Federation now is focusing more on
homegrown talents, which is what they agreed in one of
their Executive Committee meetings.
"It is not really a total shutout but they want to
concentrate at the youth level on homegrown talents, so
it would be nice for the foreign-born players to identify
with Nigeria .
"One thing I am sure is this, if they come on their own
that they want to play for Nigeria nobody will stop them,
but the NFF is trying to avoid a situation where national
team coaches will look lazy, they don't want to develop
young players at home and rather want to leverage on
talents that are already developed by big clubs like
Manchester City, Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid."
Blair added : "Before they used to invite players who are
based abroad for U17s, sometimes for U15s but they
said we'll no longer do that, but if those players are of
Nigerian descent, carry Nigerian passports, if they come
on their own nobody will stop them from fighting for a
shirt because they are Nigerians.
"A situation where you see a player because he plays
for Barcelona you send an invite to him, the Nigeria
Football Federation said they are done with that".
Obinna, who has been likened to Ansu Fati, used to
play for Espanyol youth team before he was poached by
Barcelona in 2017.

Big up to who so ever made that rule, It's a well thought out one.
Belive me, in the public sector, there are still many honest people and many calls are made with good and well thought out intentions.

That is good. The ironic thing is that focussing too much on
foreign born players may ruin our football. Our administrators will get
Lazy and ignore the talents in front of their house in Surulere or Mokola.
We will now be in a situation when we have to start begging foreign borns to play for us.
Home based player development should be the main thing.
It is a safe guarantee. If we dont develop the one at home, we will be reduced to beggers on the long run
It is good long term planning.

I believe in our Akinkunmi amoo's, Alfred Olaniyan (also in Hammary), Ibrahim Said, Adewale Oladoye etc than
anybody in Real Madrid. These foreign borns will simply dribble us and dissapoint us at the end of the day.
A bird in hand is better than 2 in the bush
An Abraham Marcus at hand is better than a Bukayo Saka in the bush

It is not a mistake that he scores less goals, the boy too like dribble. If he can master picking his moments on when to shoot or dribble he could be a top player.

Sometimes, we viewers tend to underestimate not only the difficulty of switching between very different leagues, but also the language and weather barrier. Jurgen Klopp and Ancelotti themselves said the only reason any player will consider leaving Merseyside is because of the weather.

Russia is the coldest country in the world
.

Secondly, the manager played a major role in Ejuke's slow start.

It might surprise you to know that in all of the 18 games that Chidera played under this coach, he never lasted the full match except in one, which was the last game before the manager was sacked. And shockingly, he supplied an assist.

When a player is always conscious that he will be withdrawn at any moment, he will either do too much to please, or try too little.

After they got a new manager, Ejuke played at least 85 minutes in 5 of their 7 games compared to 2 of 18 with the ex-manager. In this period, he scored 3 goals for CSKA, 1 more than he managed under the previous boss in 11 less games.

To put into context, NO other CSKA player has SCORED more under the new boss.

That explains something. He might dribble a lot, but I watch him every gameday to understand that he is still better than majority of what we got.

Me I didn't call him a bad player but I stand by my opinion. How many times have I spoken about the difficulties of leaving Nigeria to another continent? Awoniyi, Osimhen, Odey, Nwakali and many more have had my staunch defense mainly because of what u said. But that doesn't mean that the player shouldn't improve. All great players have to learn about decision making and timing. There are coaching that will accept the extra touches and there are those that won't.

Louis Enrique has shot himself in the foot by not taking Diego Costa as a second striker

He is banking on Morata alone instead, that one that misses 3 out of 4 chances before scoring one. He even missed an open net in the first half....

Maybe but he was a better option than the ones they used. U always need two players on Adama and that will free others up. I am sure that he will be a hit if given a chance.
