Do you apply for the 'Deutschlandstipendium'?. It is German Government funded scholarship (more like 300 euros monthly as stipend), I think most german universities if not all participate in this.
Once your admission place is confirmed you can apply, don't know how long it takes before the awarding takes place and each school have their different criteria but if gotten it places the person in Category A I guess. Right?

The goal is to let the world know that Nigerians are being profiled with regards to granting of visa interviews.

I think we can maximize this opportunity now that the whole world is watching the few tweets that come out of Nigeria. I personally do not believe it would be wise to protest physically at the premises of the German embassy. Though I recently just flew in from Abuja.

I would suggest this campaign takes place next week. This should give enough time to prepare. Comments are most welcome,

Let us charge our phones ready and make it a date, we don dey plenty ooh. Soon some people go turn Baba Primary 1.

I also understand the Nigerian factor, you do not want your ENEMIES to know you want to Japa/travel. We can tweet using the 3rd person.'
Just the way some people do here.

E.g I have a friend who has been on this journey for a year now and he is the only one not in Germany to take practical.

Ponder on the quote from @authe911 below.

I will just like to put it out there for anyone thinking we do not have a reason to be worried about this whole interview issue.

First off, I will like you to know that other West African countries have the luxury to can choose desired interview dates. You can check the link below to verify.

German Embassy Ghana (CAT A & CAT B)
https://service2.diplo.de/rktermin/extern/choose_category.do?locationCode=accr&realmId=279&categoryId=452

German Embassy Benin Republic (No Category)

German Embassy Togo (No Category)

Germany Embassy Cameroun (No Category)

Again, if we say it was because of covid, please tell me why some of my coursemates from China, Turkey, the US, India, Ghana e.t.c are on campus!!
Plus, the covid case in Nigeria is not as terrible as it is in some European countries.

Now let's go to the mathematics of the block account, as we all know, we have some people who have already blocked 10,000EUR into their accounts. If I can assume, maybe 200 people in Nigeria have already blocked their accounts. That is 10,000* 200 =2,000,000EUR (N1,130,000,000)
Yes, over a billion naira and that is just an approximate in the German economy.

If we wouldn't want to deceive ourselves, most enrolled students in Nigeria can not put in their 100% with the hybrid studies. So many uncertainties, how do you study efficiently??

Like what happens after semesters online, you don't get a visa? What next?

There is absolutely nothing wrong to involve the Nigerian Government in this situation.

My Take!

I don't know if they are issuing dates to category B..
But its funny to say they give appointment by luck..
Thats not possible, its either a yes or no or based on certain criteria . .....
A friend of mine got appointment in cat B.. and has been hiding alot of info from me..
I probably guess he worked it somehow...

Chai! Can you see that?

The earlier we learn that our deceptions won't take us far, the better for us o. sad

Haha he didnt do anything. U can book today and get AD in a week. Some can book and won't get AD. In my case I booked and got AD in a week. A friend of mine booked and is over 1 month now still no AD. I also know a Cat B person that had his interview ending of May. And is not just Cat B that has AD issue. I know a Lady who is in Cat A she booked since last year didnt get AD until this June. Funny enough she didnt cancel (regardless of April being the time system is cleared)

I think the reset only affects the B List i.e Cat B guys alone.

Therefore we will reset the B-list registrations at the end of September and at the end of March before the beginning of the new semester and delete all at that time existing B-list entries.

Guten Morgan! I write to appreciate all in this group! The information I have gotten here has helped me to get Visas for myself and 10 others to Poland so I come say thanks for all the information shared between 2018-2020!

On the need to protest online or at the Consulate I think I see things now from a different world view!

The German Consulate to the best of my knowledge intentionally choose to restrict Nigerians! For many reasons, my brothers with the German Government in Köln so we have discussed this issues!

The problem is that Nigerians who entered Germany in the past did not leave a good image! Many dropped out from school’ then our population of applications are way too much! So for Internal interest the Consulate reduced the Visas they give to Nigerians!

I applied to Poland only once June - November 2020 I got my Visa after wasting 3 years trying to get Germany interview date!

I’ve been seeing around the page that getting an appointment date isn’t that easy. Will it not be advisable to defer admission till March next year. Because the resumption date on my admission letter is SEPTEMBER 21.

They don't have to know. Just book Category A and go for your interview then anything you see at the Embassy gate, just take it like that

This is what people fail to understand. Nigeria just has a bad Global reputation coupled with actions/inactions of the Government in dealing with rising issues. There's no amount of Social Justice Plea you can use to guilt trip these countries into accepting every Foreigner

Thank God odogwuekeke have joined the protest. Honestly I am tired . I got a mail from my school today insisting they must refund me the fees I paid for summer semester.. after all the stress I went through for form A at access bank ..
And I know how long it took for the money to get to Germany...
Now they are saying they must refund the money . Then I would resend it for winter again .. that is I would do another form A again for winter ... and they would deduct 50 euros from the refund ....
Guys Honestly if that money reach naija chances of sending it back are very low..
What do I do now...
They said I can get someone in Germany to send the money to .. but with the economic situation the person can tell me stories later .. I am not sure I can risk that one ..

Everyone just have to agree together on this .. because if some people keep insisting there is no need for the twitter movement then it can't work...even twitter is on ban ...
Let them be open on the mode of issuing appointment.. so we know our faith..
We are not forcing them to give us visa ... most of our parents have lost hope in even sponsoring the fees..
In April my block account funds were already complete.. but now I have to start afresh again...

I feel your pain,a lot are passing through same and even worse, but only come here to read message, we need to do this, and stop ranting here, let make move, let the embassy tell us what is going on,if they will conduct interview for cat B or not,so we know our fate also, prospecting students who fall under cat B will try different country so they stop wasting their time applying.

I am a prospective student of MSc in Mining Engineering, Tu-clausthal university. Please I would love to ask some questions if you don't mind. Because I am really new to the system.

1. I finished with 3.97/5. From your experience, is the grade okay to gain admission for MSc in Mining Engineering in tu-clausthal university?

3. It state admission without restriction. Does that guarantee admission if all specifications/requirements are met?

4. I noticed during the application to the last stage of payment. I wasn't told to upload any documents at all? I was just told to fill my personal details and academic qualifications. That's all. Is that how it's done?

5. What stage am I expected to upload the documents?

Warm regards
