I have a few words.

It's quite funny how buyers want to impose prices on sellers. I understand that this is a clearance thread but we should look at things from other perspectives.

If a person sells his items at 5 naira and the normal market price is 3 naira, then he decides to do clearance of his goods and he lists them at 3.5 naira, that is clearance sale. His clearance sale may still be more expensive than the normal market price but it is clearance sale non the less.

I think what we can do is, if someone lists an item and you know where it can be bought cheaper, you can reasonably alert the thread.
In my opinion, trying to impose prices of goods on the sellers on items you didn't buy for him/her is a lil short of folly.

No one is forcing no one to sell at a specific price. It's a free world and if I want to take a crap and put the steaming pile of dung for sale on EBay I can do that and no one will stop me.

What we are saying here is that this is a thread dedicated to the selling of items at from 30%-40% less than the price of a used copy of the same item on the market. It's almost like giving out the item away.

For example, I bought a Xiaomi mi max 2 from Noobody in late 2017 for 79k if I remember correctly. The phone is still mint cos I use my electronics carefully.

If I put that phone for sale in this clearance thread I go sell it for 30-35k. Why? Because this is a clearance thread. I repeat, it's a CLEARANCE THREAD, not a Used Item thread or Tokunbo thread.

It's like some of you here are incapable of understanding the difference between clearance and Tokunbo thread. And that's why I keep saying we urgently need a supermod to be deleting posts and banning posters quoting prices that do not fall into the clearance price category.
