Kante is not a sitting DM he is an Arturo Vidal type of player who roams around the pitch snuffing out attacks with his interceptions and tackle, playing him as a lone DM doesn't suit him. If you watch yesterday it was Rabiot who stayed behind while Pogba and Kante pushed forward to close the central space.

His game is similar to Kante and Kovacic which will be too much in that area of the pitch. We need a play maker that is strong. Sancho for me since they already have a zig zag winger in Foden on the other side.
