andrewbaba44: Matuidi was the main person I was talking about. Sissoko just offers about the same thing. This tournament will expose the amount of work Matuidi was doing at the world cup because they don't have that type of player on the roster. They don't need another star player they need a clean up guy. |

TheSuperNerd: Honestly, na Onuachu cos am o But I am really happy for Sierra Leone. They were really fired up for the game. 24hrs before the game, I saw an interview with Anthonia Rudiger of Chelsea whose second country of origin is Sierra Leone. He was really up beat about Sierra Leone making the AFCON. Nigeria actually gave Sierra Leone the life line and the "we can do it" attitude with that 4:4 draw in Benin-City. Other notable 'surprise qualifiers' are Comoros and Gambia. Also, for the first time all the three Guineas would be playing in the AFCON: Guinea - Conakry (the popular Guinea) Equatorial Guinea Guinea - Bissau Something tells me sub-Saharan African teams will dominate this AFCON. 2 Likes |

Beloved3: Pidgin English was introduced to the West Coast of Africa by the Portuguese. It is widely spoken amongst the English speaking west African countries. The Liberian Pidgin is even closer to the type of Pidgin spoken in Lagos 1 Like |

Icon4s: That's quite interesting. But I think the Liberian pidgin sounds very wierd. Unlike the Sierra Leonian guys, they don't use lingos like 'I dey go', 'We go win' etc. Our pidgin is probably closer to the S'Leonians. Look what I found in YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83RyMeXyQBc |

Let me rephrase your question. Can our SE strikers score those goals playing for their home team in Nigeria? Ramos played for his home football team. Can he reciprocate that in Africa? I don't think so. elyte89: |

IDENNAA: No. It was used as an early trade language between the locals and Europeans : Mostly English and Portuguese. It is a mixture of English, local dialects and some little Portuguese. |
