He said he was email that his application as been forwarded to turkey. he didn't say he's gotten visa. I have similar experience still awaiting their email since April 13. but they will surely send email.

I suppose you meant passport renewal. Where do you reside in Turkey?

I applied on April 19th and got a call to bring my passport back for a stamp on May 26th or so. It took about 6 weeks to get that call and there was no way to track the application. PS: I applied for a Tourist visa in Kenya. The visa reps at the office here told me it usually takes 10 days (more or less) for citizens.

Since you applied on May 7th, it's almost one month now. Maybe this is the new timeline, I don't know but you'll probably hear from them soon.

I did my application since 8the April, collected passport on 13the April. Till now, no information.

Yes, I was told that my passport has been forwarded to Turkish authorities, that I will be contacted when a reply is given.

Check the last page of your passport if they wrote anything....
