I called the Nigerian rep for SHU and they asked to forward educational documents and CV which I have done. I called later to follow up and he mentioned that my transcript doesn't have a logo but it will be accepted in the interim. Please has anyone else experienced this? And is the logo issue an obstacle?

I also submitted my degree certificate

But I already submitted my visa application sometime last week on gov.uk, but my appointment at IOM is on the 3rd of August (that’s the earliest I got). And I hope to go for biometrics immediately after. Hope this will not affect my visa.

Send a mail to IOM, explaining this to them and follow up with calls. They can bring your date forward, without any hassles. That's what I also did.

You have to pay for each of them, alas.

I suggest you write an email to their regular email address. State all these challenges at hand. It may take time before you get response (like a week).
State the reference numbers, proof of payment and desire date in your email. You might be lucky.

State all these challenges and efforts you have made to come on the previous date. It will be resolved! Don't forget to put your reference numbers, attach the proof of fund, and your ID to the email.

I don't know much about adding this type of letter of non indebtedness to a student visa application. Maybe others can advise you well, I don't want you to print any statement of acc that will raise an eye Brow check if the aspect of the loan in your pof is not obvious, pray they don't see it. (That's a risk anyway.) Because you will not be there. Your pof should be simple and not have transactions like loan repayment. Most people here are so wise and even if some borrowed funds, they won't start counting from that day the lender drops the money in their acc. The opening balance will be the next day. Why not make your opening balance the day after the deducted loan in your statement then count your 28 days. They will think you're borrowing to finance your study and this is not good. I still heard about it in a seminar organise recently that if you borrow money don't let them see any trait in your statement. Just pray about it and move on. Good luck.

I would suggest you call them during working hours they do pick call during work hours. However, if you do a manual booking, your name would be on the list at the gate. I did a Manual booking on 28th May and no email was sent but when I got there on 15 June for the test, my name was on the list with the security.

Please I'm at very confused. I have my surname, and two of names in all my documents. Now that I'm married, my husband wants to replace my surname with his in my international passport. Truthfully, I do not want to part with my surname. Please can I yank off my middle name then add his surname? I'm willing to do the affidavit and also news paper publication. But I am scared , dont no if removing my middle name will pose any issue for me in the future. Please advice

On your wife's welcome portal, under letters (I think there should be a letter with bank details). If not, then click on pay school fees or search for how to pay school fees on the school's website or this link https://payment.flywire.com/pay/payment, put the amount you want to pay and then choose the option of International bank transfer, they should give you a form and a code that you will print for your FORM A. You will be told that the code will expire in 3 days but if you send a mail to flawier that you are paying from Nigeria, it will be extended to a month.

Please can I submit the student copy transcript for Visa application? Even if I ask for official copy the school will only send it directly to Institutions/Corporate organization. Please advise. Thank you.

Same thing I did then I added court affidavit. It's not a problem but you should discuss with your husband too so you're on the same page.

Then feel free to do so.
So basically, for the purposes of a student visa, you do not need to have the same surname with your husband for the UK authorities to accept that you are married.

Please for those who have gotten their visa did you go through any interview at the time of visa application till collection of visa

If you decided to get married and don’t want to part with your surname, I am just wondering why ooo you don’t want to part with your surname , the best way to go about it is use your surname as a middle name , always use quotation mark for it then is surname

if you want the official copy, you can look for a private school owner or any registered organization owner you know and inform him or her that you want to send your transcript to them, get their address, go to your school and apply for it with the address of the organization or private school you've align with, when they finally send it, you can go and collect it from them, hopefully, only the first page which is not needed will be addressed to them, you can then go ahead and scan the copies that carries your grade

I don't think they're still doing interviews due to covid, but if your application is not straight forward, they will call you for credibility interview via phone

In my opinion, you are now married there’s no need keeping your surname, it’s hard but you will sooner or later have to get over it, but here’s what you can do, talk to your husband to let you use your name on your passport, then you can do newspaper publications and the likes after,
