Igboland Is Not Southeast, See 1856 and 1911 Map by British Researchers | #IgbereTV For those with good knowledge of history, the geographical location of Igbos and Igboland is one of the earliest well defined with its coordinate as far back as 1856 before Nigeria came in to being. This is the official documentation of Igbo boundaries, a people who have lived in the forest region for thousands of years. This is also the Igbo cultural areas (ICA). The maps and descriptions below describes Igboland and not southeast. Southeast was created following balkanization of old Eastern Region in 1967,almost over 100 years after igboland is already defined in 1856. 5 Likes 3 Shares

But isn't this ironic, IPOB will complain that Nigeria is a British creation yet they use a book or map written by the British to defend their land grabs... The racists British who ignored ethnic and cultural differences in people are now suddenly very credible. 16 Likes 2 Shares |

So you now believe the British? Thought you and your kith and kins keep calling Nigeria a zoo created by the British. Thought the British were the ones that put you in this forceful contraption? Oh the British are now saints for expressing their ignorance in putting different tribes with different but similar language as one aka Ibo? Ibo man na only d one wey favour you you go write. OK the British put you in Nigeria by drawing the Nigerian map and call it one country. So live with it. 14 Likes 1 Share |

Balfour Baikie was one of the first white men Igbos met in person, and actually made friends with Igbos. His name "baikie" is why Igbos started calling all white people "bekee". To this day, Igbos still call white people "bekee" because of him 17 Likes 1 Share |
