Dear NL, I did my TB test yesterday and I was subjected to further test as they claimed the outcome of my test result is not clear for them to take a decision. The worst is that the further test result will not be available until about between 6 to 8 weeks. I don't know if anyone has experienced this before.

No, you can apply as long as your own funds are complete (28 days inclusive) but your dependants should wait till after their's complete before applying.

I got a conditional offer for Msc Data Analytics at London Metropolitan University. The conditions are that I write a new personal statement and provide an IELTS results with pass of 6. The IELTS is what I do not get as I come from an English speaking country and English was the mode of teaching in my undergraduate. This they claimed to be an exception to not writing any English test on their website, so I wonder why it has changed now. Anyone got this same conditions now or in the past? How did you get past this or will I have to succumb to writing the IELTS?

So the uni does the interview to prepare you for the one at the embassy. The good news is that for now the interview at embassy is on hold, however, they can conduct interview via phone call f your application is not straightforward...you can relax

This UKVI like money die...this their £ to $ conversation is just funny. I noticed

IHS for 2yrs = £1,175 = $1,639.70 (from Oanda)

I don't know the rate they use.....SMH!!!

Just make sure you add like extra $100-$200 when u do your conversion using oanda.

I got a conditional offer from Ulster University, Birmingham. They are insisting on my waec certificate which got lost some years back. I 've sent my statement of result and a scratch card pin number for them to verify the results. Has anyone encountered this challenge before because they are still insisting on the certificate.

Just don't forget to upload IOM certificate when it's ready before submission, go over your uploads over and over again.

Your best option is going to IOM physically. You will be able to do a manual booking.

Your date might be a month from the day you go there. That is if you go there 21st June, they might give you 21st July.

But it's still possible to get an earlier date Sha.

Just go there as soon as you can and leave online booking alone for now.

I guess you should go to their office to do manual booking as adviced. They have been having issues with their site for quite some time now.

Thank you very much. It remains spouse's application to be submitted. The issue with that is we mistakenly stated spouse not traveling with the main applicant when filling the form. Do you think this is misrepresentation?

How can we address this issue if we want to fill the spouse's form?

Pls o. For clarity sake. Is filling "No" to the question about dependents travelling with me to the Uk a wrong move ?. In my case, my dependents won't be joining me till few months after I must have gotten to the UK.
I am in the process of filling mine and I wouldn't want to submit anything that would jeopardize my dependent's chances of getting their visa . Help pls !!
