Igbo people don’t have a king nor a group of “elites” that we answer to, unlike other tribes. At the end of the day, no amount of talks or pleads from such people will change anything. They benefit from the zoo contraption called Nigeria at the expense of the common man. They know when Biafra comes they will lose all their relevance and will have no chance to steal, so of course they are protecting their interests. Thank goodness Igbos are republican in nature and nobody can lord over us and tell us what to do. If they want the agitations to stop, they know exactly what needs to be done. Most Igbos are no longer interested in the zoo and backwards failed state called Nigeria. No two ways about it. If they are proud of their failed state, all good and fine, but others are not and want better to for themselves. 1 Like |

MARKone: Good question.. There was a time Igbos, ESN or whatever were stopping buses looking for Hausas, Yorubas and other ethnic groups to lynch.. where were these so called leaders to caution them. They killed Yourba policemen, soldiers including those from North for no reason yet the leaders looked away. It's because of imminent reprisal attacks on their people that they are coming out now to say this.. if not they don't care, all they do is play victim with their yeye victim mentality 5 Likes 1 Share |

OnionBandit: Your tears are too early. Fulani terrorists can't ever get a foothold in the east. Your jihad ends at the door steps of those whom has been in hot romance with you since the war ended. All other peaceful northerners are free and safe in the east. But you see terrorists, their name na sorry. Igbo leaders are catching cruise with the centre . Shebi una wan hear their voice abi, there you have it. Yet deep down they know they have no real power to influence any thing. Power lies with the people in Igboland. Buhari should prepare mouth watering contracts for more than 50 million Igbos if he wants to buy our voice. . That is how it works down here. 4 Likes |

the Igbos overestimate themselves too much and it always backfires. We have over 300 tribes in Nigeria, only the Igbos feel marginalised, threatened, endangered, beaten, molested, suffocated, haba na only una waka come If all tribes in Nigeria cries like the igbos, I wonder if the landmass of Nigeria will contain all of us. The need to be calming down jor, make noise, chest beat and at the end be begging all over the place 7 Likes 3 Shares |

Tranquillity360: Stop talking trash, nobody hates the Igbo. From your comment, I see that it is possible you have not traveled out of your village. Travel to other parts of Nigeria and see what is happening. I grew up with igbo and I had some of them as friends at all levels of my education. At high school, my best friend was an Igbo (May God rest his soul). It is nnamdi kanu that turned the Igbo against all other Nigerians with his utterances. With this communiqué from the Igbo elite, all the black blood that nnamdi kanu caused is hereby diffused. 2 Likes |

Goke7: Which misdeeds. Look at these cowards. Using reverse psychology to make Igbos look like the aggressors. Why have the whole country not turned against the terrorist Fulani's killing and displacing indigenious populations in Nigeria. I understand, this is the kind of tone that makes you guys feel like warriors in Nigeria. That it why the almajiris including Buhari has been threatening southeast leaders for weeks now. Nnamdi Kanu is scaring the shit out of them, so they want to be comforted. Well, Eastern leaders has giving you comfort. Sleep tight. 3 Likes |

One question I want to ask all these people who gathered in Enugu In your own country, if you have to periodically beg other zones not to slaughter your own people, then why do you want to belong to such a country? Why do you want to be part of a country where your people can be slaughtered by other ethnic groups at any time? That is enough evidence that you should not be part of that country 3 Likes |
