This is man is a failure already. He was part of Mbandinuju government that wrecked havoc on the state. He served as the Anambra State Commissioner for Works and Transport from 1999 to 2001.

Agreed. In normal circumstances these mid season elections should actually be a vote of confidence or otherwise on the government in power and in that case the APC should expect nothing other than a protest vote against its candidate...

...but Nigeria is not a 'normal country' and frankly the APC is not entirely an evil entity if it could just rid itself of personality cultism and properly institutionalise. But as long as it is viewed as a vehicle for the actualisation of clandestine, dark agendas of very powerful individuals commanding it, its problems will persist.

To get the APC back into mainstream politics will require a massive show of courage by its members to sieze its power base and steer it away from its presently underperforming figurines.

Traditional rulers shouldn't be partisan and take side with gangsters. They should remain neutral as royal fathers and use uprightness as guiding lights. Every institution in Nigeria has been bastardised, hence the utter decay of morals in society.
