depends on where you are

My dad rented a land for me last year almost an acre for 18k
you could spend that amount for clearing (I did that with the help of my brothers)
spent 14k for chemicals (7 bottles of glyphosphate, at #1,700-1,900 per bottle)
abt four rubbers of corn seed(the one used in measuring rice) or you could buy in #1,500 per bag of hybrid corn
you'll need abt 20k for maintenance (weeding pesticides, and selective herbicides except your a god and use glyphosphate to weed ur farm)

I am currently planting corn to raise maintenance money to lunch cassava and corn on the same farm and sponsor another set of farms
