Good morning great guys! My visa is out! Pls I want to know if I can put in my dependants visa application now since mine is out? I intend applying for them from 3 week of next month when the money must have completed 28 days. My entry to UK is wef 25 August so I want them to go with me. Pls advice!!!! God bless

Please before you got your CAS were you required to provide your tuberculosis result, proof of funds and deposit ? Or please what were you required to provide?

I advice you go to IOM Center and apply manual, you’ll just write down your name and they’ll give you a date for your appointment..

Well, it might work. I got a positive response from the IOM Nigeria upon inquiry about this.
Then, on getting to the IOM in another country, I was specifically advised not to do it with them since the visa application will not be done in that country to avoid refusal.

This is my advice, write IOM Nigeria about your complaints as regards early testing. Again, book for any date available, make a payment.


Send all this information to IOM Nigeria via email. (Attached the proof of payment, passport, reference number) and humbly request for an early date. In fact, you can put your desire date.

Just compose the message very well. You will definitely get a response after the regular auto-reply.
I did this and I was given an earlier date.

You can use your parents account for the required POF , along with your birth certificate and letter of consent from your parents agreeing to allow you use the funds.

Another option is putting the required POF in your own account.

Yes. I'm helping a family member with application With wlv.ac.uk and yes you require TB cert. Proof of funds and deposit for cas to be issued.

It is not a must the closing balance equals the opening balance in as much the total money do not go lower than what is required.

My opening balance is 10.9m and closing balance is 9.6m. My required POF is actually 9m so this should be sufficient isn't it.

Sure it is very sufficient.

What I meant by opening balance should be the same with closing balance. Some people might put lesser than there POF and later add up to make up the POF and count 28days which is not right.

You count for the both.

But you need to do that ASAP because as at yesterday the closest date was 29th of July..And you can have someone who resides in Lagos to help you write down and book your appointment..Just send the data page of your passport to the person

Yes, I was attended to. Like someone advised, you need to get there as early as possible because they will not attend to all everyone for walk in. I got to tls around 6am and 3 people were already there, all for walk in. They attended to 7 of us and that was it for the day. The number of walk in applicants they take depends on the number of people with appointments that day.

Just want to check that my calculation are correct.

My POF was deposited on the 24th of May 2021 and on my online statement I can see closing balance of that day at the exact amount I want for POF.

With 28 days count, that means that my POF bank statement should show the deposit between 24th May 2021 till 21st June 2021.

If I print my statement today 22nd of June with the above, would that be sufficient for my student visa application?

I need someone to please have a second look and confirm that I am right, please.

Also check that your opening and closing balance meets the pof
