Hey, welcome. I think I have come across your moniker in German thread as well as Daniel Houston thread.

Well, going by information shared so far, if you are applying from Nigeria, your sponsor should be in Nigeria for easier verification. In same vain, if you are applying from Germany, I think it would be best if your sponsor comes from Germany or one of the EU countries. When I mean by applying, I specifically meant the visa application. My opinion though.

Hi thanks for replying, I currently live in and study in Germany, the information is for a relative not me smiley.

Okay, it would be best if you give the relative the fund to do credit card under his/her name.

He already explained this na. Do the credit card and have your sponsor state that the card was given to you by him and he'd keep funding you if the card is maxed out
Do you need to do the credit card here or when you get to Poland?

. You can easily open a euros Dormiciliary account at any first bank branch.. It will help you a long way because youre going to Europe where Euros is mostly used. All you need Is documents they require for opening a naira account. And look for two people operating a current account in First Bank to sign for you. That all. Fund it And do your stuff... Goodluck

Paying such high bank charges just to send a little over 11k (20 Euros) is pointless. Granted he needs a Dorm account for the future but also needs to explore other ways of paying very little sums.

He can open a credit card account, fund it and have the bank issue him a cc certificate stating how much is in it and the limit..best go for 4-5m

I thought credit card account is only meant for salary people and not businessmen. No?

This seems like you either have an issue with your school document or your lectures have started and you require to submit an extension letter which is to be given to you by your school.

Greetings and Many Thanks for your info;

I would like to find out, with regards to paying for the Legalization at the Embassy, do we need to go with Euros FX or we can pay in Naira and the equivalent in euros be deducted...

Look forward to a response

Thanks

Oops sorry for my late response,I don't know if someone else has answered you tho
But you will need to have the euro equivalent in cash to the Embassy
So if one document, you're expected to have 30euro and if more you do the addition.
You're welcome

Go through the thread well, business and salary persons can get a cc
Is it compulsory for a business person to also get a credit card-backed certificate?

If the business person earns a salary then they can use their payslips otherwise they will need to fund a cc and request a cc certificate to show proof of funds.

Pls be sure to go back through the threads and read

Hi,

I would advise you check the official polish visa website https://www.gov.pl/web/nigeria-en/d-type-national-visa for the required information you need concerning the documents for submission, its quite self-explanatory on the website. Also go through a couple of the pages back for further insight if needed.

After that, if you still need further clarification you can send a message here.

Hope this helps.

Medicine here in Lodz is expensive, from what I heard they pay up to 5m annually and it’s cos it’s a very good school, lots of international students, Medical University of Lodz . Check other states though
Pls, any idea on medical university of lodz entrance exam format. Then, the application fee, does it precede the entrance exam

Hey,

That’s the university I’m at. Medical university of Łódź, English division.

You apply online and then submit, they’ll send you an email saying to pay 120€ for application fee to eligible for the Skype entrance exam.

In the Skype entrance exam, you’ll have 2 people interviewing you. 1s a teacher and the other an admin person. You be quizzed on 2 subjects (bio, chem, math or physics) depending on what you selected on your application form. The questions are oral, not too hard just basic info you should know i.e what’s an ion, what does the liver do, explain insulin... dress formal.

After that expect an email later on confirming acceptance. Then they’ll ask for legalized results or you can ask to bring it with you to Poland I believe.

After you get acceptance letter and you have to pay you tuition fee before class starts so between 1st-7th October and you pay 5700€ about (per semester)

That’s about it. Hope it helps

. How did you get your Appointment. Was it through calling the almighty busy number?, do people really get Appointment from calling that number?

It was through phone call ,that's the only way for securing appointment, I wasn't successful in the first week but God helped me in the second week cus their line is always busy,i called over 276x times before I was able to get through, 4 guys came all the way from Lagos but their name wasn't on the appointment list because their agent collected money and lied to them....please the only way to secure appointment is only through phone call to avoid all these mumu agent fraud

Nwanne when u go to the bank ask for bank manager. Tell them you need a cash backed credit card . Basically it’s like a secured naira credit card . Meaning you will use your own funds to fund it as collateral ok. In this case the bank will put a lien on some of the money . For example let’s say you need a cash backed credit card for 5m. You will need to fund the card with about 6m because out of this 6m the bank will hold between 10-20% of it as collateral meaning they will put a lien on that 10-20% of the amount you are funding your credit card with.
Once you fund the credit card account you can then request for a certificate/confirmation of credit card limit. Some banks take between 5-7 days to issue this certificate.
This certificate is what you need to submit to the polish embassy as proof of funds.

Pls note : Most often the Bank will say their limit for cash backed credit card is 3m or 4m. But with proper escalation through manager and the right channels at the bank they can allow you to fund more than this. Most often even after proper escalation the most u will be able to fund at most banks will be 9m.

Try the bigger commercial banks like first bank, access, GTB and the like

Thank you so much my brother, what I did was to go the bank and asked for a reference latter ,TITLED BANKERS CERTIFICATE FOR CARD BALANCE addressed to the embassy and also did public notary on it...but from what you explained now clearly shows that you know exactly how to do it..most of all these bank customer care attendants knows nothing..they will be shouting telling you that there is nothing like credit card certificate...even at the embassy one fraudulent agent asked me to pay 150k for certificate he was recommended to me by the Nigerian security people at the embassy gate...please do not listen to those security men, they have fraudulent link,

About the interview...the question varies depending on what your going for,in my case she asked why do I want to study polish language and history when my first degree was business administration....I shaa explain what I know ,she asked me to go, but the guy b4 me was really on a hot seat...she asked so many questions trying to confuse the guy which he fell for..at a point lost confidence
