Please do not mislead people into depression. From my last chat from a reliable source in Shell, recruitment is still going on. If they haven't sent you a regret mail or otherwise, you're most likely a potential candidate. Ill be resuming in August and hope others get lucky too. Just be patient.

Successful candidates already contacted and offered given - at least for IT.
If you are yet to receive an offer, there is very small hope incase any of the originally offered rejected the offer.

This guy, sebi you are the one that said you received offer on May 3rd,, how come you will be resuming in August and not june or july like every other person that got the offer since may? even some people that got their offer in June are still going to resume in july..and you are the only one that also claim you didnt get the ABC form and got an offer,. That is because I am currently not based in Nigeria due to personal reasons. Had to reschedule my resumption.

It's so surprising how things moved from being quite sure of getting an offer to not knowing where I stand with them this moment... I've been very depressed in the last 2 months just because of this... wasn't expecting this from Shell at all.. This is so disappointing and frustrating at the same time.. Either way, everyone go chop breakfast from shell, hot or cold..

Until you get a rejection mail, be hopeful till the August Date.

You're right about the total number but not all offers were accepted. Some candidates rejected the offers, meaning not all slots have been filled. Besides, only 1 candidate resumed in June for IT.

I am only sure of IT. Not sure for others.
But take note there is a Reorganisation going on in Shell and the recruitment is to fill some positions.
The new organisation takes off August 1 and all new recruits should be on by July 1st to allow training and possible handovers. So I am sure that all successful candidates must have received their letters by now.

If I may ask, even though I know you can't answer, how do you know any role has been fully sourced?

Secondly, why does your statement negate what the recruiters are saying?

I know for sure that the target was always for all successful candidates to resume in August at the latest NOT July. That's not even a privileged information.

Anyways, July 1st is just around the corner.

For those still believing that new offers would be made, please ignore these people and keep your faith alive.

Hello guyz just to inform you all i got a regret mail from shell today though I wasn't invited for the second stage interview so i wasn't expecting much.
So for those that haven't gotten any regrets from them, you might still be in the race. All the best to us all.

They have been sending out regret mails for over 2 weeks now... Guess they started with those that their application wasn't considered... Has any one been sent regret mail of recent after the last video interview?

Did anyone who did the final video interview receive regret mail from shell?
