I remember a certain guy who got scammed by a supposedly very beautiful lady he met online, fell in love with her and was sending money to her as she claimed to be a student of a certain university in Benin Republic.
The guy's eyes were eventually opened when the 'student' asked him to come to Seme border to meet her after he had consistently pestered her that he wanted to see her. The mugu went to Seme border on the appointed day and was there from 9am until 6pm without the fake student showing up.
When he called her number at about 6pm (it had been switched off all day long), a hard male voice picked the call and the poor guy told the guy on the line that he had been waiting to see the student at Seme border all day long.
The scammer, the guy who picked the call, then proceeded to abuse the guy at Seme border that he was an idiot and a mugu if he was still at Seme border by 6pm as he ought to know that he had been scammed, with that he switched off the phone.
The poor scammed guy was shocked and almost broke down in tears according to his own narration.
