I have applied to other universities and got offered admission but I was torn between these two for some reasons. However, having spoken to a friend in London and was given some good advice I have decided to go with the University of Hul[/b]l.
I will like to advice some people here based on what I was told.

-Getting a good job in the UK takes time, most times they require some UK experience so you shouldnt just expect to get a good graduate job immediately you complete your studies, go for the one available, gain some experience and then try applying again for the one you have had your eyes on all along.
-Most employers in the UK check the ranking of your University before considering you for a job.
-It is very rare to get a permanent job with your 20hours student work permit only parttime/temporary jobs are easily gotten.
-You can change your location after your studies to a place where the chances of getting the kind of job you want and/or qualify for is in abundance. -If you do not get a job after studies please do self a favour by applying quickly to leave the United Kingdom for some other country that her economy is way stronger than that of the UK before your Visa expires. Coming back to Nigeria shouldn't be an option with all that is happening here, but if your situation is different and your connect is strong here please do come back.

In summary, do what works for you, individual situations differ.

For those going to or has gone to Sheffield Hallam university, after the initial 1k deposit has been paid, how do you pay the 50% fee at enrollment??
Can it still be paid with Form A or it has to be paid over there in Pounds? Which means I’ll have to convert my naira to pounds first? Pls clarify? As I’m thinking the conversion rate will be high compared to using form A of around 585/£. Pls urgent responses needed.

@ prisscindy Pls I have a question. Am a single mom. I have meet all requirements for me and my kids. In my costody order my husband have right to see my kids anytime he want, but now is nowhere to be found and I need consent letter from him. I have met with his elder brother and he ready to give me consent letter with his international passport attached to it and he want to explain that my ex is nowhere to be found since 2016… we divorced 2015 and ever since then he disappear .. pls can the consent of his family wl be okay with visa application. Or what can I do in this regards thanks.

When talking to the school rep just now she said I should have calculated at black market rate of 700. Oanda is currently 573 which means I have 27naira room for fluctuations. I want to know, if I apply for the visa will they say that the funds is not enough or by Oanda rate of that day it’s okay.

I have someone with a full scholarship (full tuition and monthly stipend) from a school in the UK. But while filling the visa application form, he picked the option that he relies on his parents for maintenance funds. And so he needs to submit the related documents like birth certificate and bank balance. The bank balance is not up to what is needed. But he has the official sponsor letter stating he’s on a full scholarship and the amount to be paid (even more than the required amount on UKVI website).
What would you suggest in this case? Will a cover letter be sufficient in explaining the situation, alongside the official sponsor letter, birth certificate, bank statement from his parent and his personal bank statement (he is still working, so he’s getting paid)?

Please help us solve this. Thanks
