Anyone travelled 2 months to course start date? Authorization for travel exemption for kids is expiring soon and traveling is imminent. Or has anyone renewed the travel exemption authorization? Which airline would carry passengers two months before course start date?

Lekiboboe:

You can't apply for a Masters in Canada with an HND degree. As an HND holder, you are expected to go for a Post Graduate Certificate (PG.Cert) program.

If you are still interested in doing a Masters with your HND and you have a good Academic standing, you can try USA. There are HND holders who got admission for a Masters and PHD in the U.S., e.g Eastern Illinois University, USA, though most HND holders have to evaluate their Transcript & Certificate with WES USA

Go to the "USA Visa thread" for more enquiries if interested

Hello,
Hope you’re doing well. My counterfoil shows that my TRV will expire by January 1, 2022 because my passport will expire by January 31, 2022. And my program will start January 10, 2022 and ends by July 2023, plz what do you suggest I do to get the extensions. I also need the gurus best advice.

Hello RichieJayy,

This is no issue. Facilitate entry before the expiry of your TRV and get your SP issued. Once inside Canada, with a valid study permit and an expired TRV, you will still legally have resident status.

For international students, the TRV is only to be able to board a flight and facilitate entry into Canada to get the SP issued.

It is only when you intend to travel out of Canada that you will need to apply to renew your TRV to be able to re-enter. As you know, the SP is not a travel document as facilitating entering into Canada with just the SP is based on the sole discretion of the CBSA officer to grant or refuse entry.

Best of Luck

Use the regular courier service (dhl. ups, etc) and send your documents two ways, if you do a one way, you might pay 12,570.00 via VFS Buy service to get back your TRV documents..

Dynatotita:
I had a chat with Abuja VFS online and I was informed that I should do oneway courier.

To your question, two way means times 2 the amount to be paid to courier coy.

Hello BiggestAmaju,

Two months to resumption is necessarily not a wrong time to travel (when compared to a month), especially if you have a critical or good reason(s) to want to facilitate entry that early.

Ensure to have a quarantine plan!

I think the $10k is for Art student
I was only qualified for $3k even with a 3.95 GPA since I am going for an MBA, which I found out after I had submitted my application.
Also note that the scholarship is based on Academic excellence

Contact the student advisor for more information

That is nice bro
I finished with 3.85 GPA. Do you mean am eligible for this "10,000$-3.8 or above GPA"?

Agreet you Elders in the house please ooooooo what’s really happening, I don’t understand and I can’t explain is it only people with NSE request or route that are liable for PPR this time around with the timeline I’m seen here. I also noticed that certain number of last year applicant that followed normal route are still awaiting for PPR to drop. (is this one covid 19 delay?)

You are welcome,

To kickstart your PG admission process, your response to the questions below would give insights on PG. programs you can go likely go for

That being said

- What did you study in the Polytechnic for your HND?

- what year did you graduate? (To address study gap)

- Is your work experience/Job since you graduated till now in anyway related to your HND degree (For Career Progression)?

Good day everyone. I want to book upfront medical at qlife. I seem not to understand the payment procedure. What I'm seeing are pay stack, monnify and flutterwave. Which one should I choose. What is confusing me is that their website is displaying we will pay using naira card (ATM card) . I await responses.

shupy:

Study plan is an aspect of an SOP. People just tend to use the term interchangeably. You seem to be placing too much emphasis on your family. And no, there's separate letter for anything. Every explanation regarding your home ties must be included in your sop. Family members birth certificate is not necessary. Your mother working somewhere is not an home tie. Your home ties are incentives for you to return home after your studies. If you're going for an agricultural program, your parents poultry and farm are incentives for you to return home. Even the explanation you give regarding career path can be used as an home tie. You must make the most out of every circumstance.
@TheDarkGamer #BoldSection I meant there's no separate letter for anything. All must be included in your SOP. Like I stated before, the program you've chosen makes it a bit complex. Ensure it's reviewed by a professional.
