She didn't mention rape but she did say he got violent so she had to give in. The next day she minded her space and the guy tried to sleep with her again and the incident from the night before was still fresh in her mind, she rejected his advances and he got violent again but this time she did not allow him have his way and he was chasing her round the flat until she got to the kitchen and had to pick up a knife.

Very correct sir but a man can't be convicted for raping his wife in Nigeria. This position stems from the common law position that the woman's "I do" during their wedding gives the man right to have sex with her anytime except when the sex will be innimical to her health.

Common law countries that convict men for raping their wives like South Africa have departed from the common law position by ammending either their matrimonial causes act or criminal code act to accommodate spousal rape. Unfortunately, Nigeria has not done that.

I have spent 4 days in a hotel room with a girl and throughout she said we need to know each other better and she never allowed sex and I didn't push it even though money was not agreed upon.
