drmikeadams: Thankfully, I saw this. There's a funny trap along okota road/ago palace way junction. On getting to the junction, there is a long arrangement of cones on the road, dividing it into two. If you're coming from Oshodi-Apapa express way or Ijesha going towards Ikotun always keep to your right. Don't drag with anybody. Just maintain your right up till you get to the roundabout. If you don't understand that place, you may find yourself on the left side of the cones. When this happens, just turn left into ago palace way and make a U-turn at 250 metres or so. Forget about the traffic or your rider who may be shouting at you. Don't try to be smart and turn back right in between the cones else you would become soup for lastma/police. Even if there's no traffic, don't turn and try to zoom off. Believe me, they will give you a hot chase!! Some riders will be gracious enough to direct you well. I notice male riders are more eager to help a driver avoid pitfalls like this. 17 Likes |

dav1002: So I picked up this girl. We had good rapport. After trip ended, as usual, "Please your account details". I gave it to her. Usually I ask if the rider has been debited, but in this case I saw when she did it and she said it was successful. Usually after transfer been successful, I ask the rider if I can call if I don't get it, but in this case I no ask. Maybe because we were gisting sha and I felt it's just N1,100. She no go wan fall her hand because of N1,100. So I left. Usually, after every transfer, I get credited in less than 5mins. If the person is sending from Access Bank it's immediate. 10mins I never see alert. 20mins I never see. I called her and she said she would check and call me back. She didn't call. I called her 30mins later and she said that she's not been sent the debit alert yet but the money has left her account. Two hours later I called her and she said I should send my account number. I did. An hour later, I called her and realized I was blocked. Tried calling several times, same thing. I later sent a text requesting for the transfer. She said ok. I waited two more hours and called. Number busy. I tried sending a text it didn't go through. I then sent a message to Bolt. About an hour later I was still on a trip when I saw a pop-up that I had a message from support. I couldn't read the message. Some minutes later she called that why would I report her account. That is it N1,100 that she cannot pay bla bla bla. I said "but you blocked me". She said she put her phone on "Do Not Disturb". I should unblock her account. I say no be me block you o, na Bolt. She my money, I'll message them to unblock you. She said I have to unblock her before she pays. I said you dey whyne yourself. Till now, I never see money. At least e go give her sense and she wouldn't try that rubbish with someone else. 7 Likes

nickvanilla: These you mentioned are what good drivers are meant to do when driving but majority of drivers in Nigeria will know he is turning right at the end of the road but will still maintain left and turn at the late time. There are driving instructions to follow but a large percentage of Nigerian drivers didn't go to driving school, even some driving schools do not teach the right way. 18 Likes 2 Shares |

InfinityEstates: Bros, you mean bolt didn’t compensate you ? Usually they will pay half of the money and block users account. There was this rude lady who was shouting on his papa will on trip, she made transfer and said gone, jumped out, saying I’m late for meeting. No problem after 1hr I texted her she said send Acct number again the money was reversed, I did immediately, called her twice she ignored. I was very happy to block her account for being rude not cos of d 1k. 3 Likes |

tunlapapa: Baba no be so u see driving nobody learns all, apart from drivers wat about d road managers (govt) how are Dy managing the safety and precaution signs because dat particular road there is no sign up or down. The best like I do when going to unfamiliar places i calm my head down to be observate and also ask riders for head's up wen necessary. Good luck 4 Likes |

tunlapapa: It's not all drivers that do it on purpose. I'll rather blame it on lack of adequate road signs. You know there's always constant surge in Lagos Island (Broad street, Marina axis) because drivers avoid that place like a plague. Two weeks ago, I got a request in that area. I told the rider specifically that I was coming from Broad Street. She said I should meet her at Kakaki street. I drove from Broad street into KaKaki street and parked there. When the lady entered, she then told me that it's one way...that assuming it was in the afternoon, those CBD boys would have jumped on me. In my mind, I was like so why didn't you give me any heads up earlier?? But I remember checking the street junction for one way/do not enter signs. I didn't see any!! 4 Likes |

Slickleo: Very true. I don't go to unfamiliar places. Once I sense it's a troubled spot, I let the trip ring out. For instance, I don't do Lagos island( Eko, balogun, idumota, oke arin n Co). So many pitfalls there, the female riders that want to drop by UBA, or on marina road n still want to pay by transfer. 12 Likes |

One thing every driver should know is: the same way you get up in the morning to hustle for your daily bread is the same way those lastma/police/cbd get up to hunt you down and take your hard earned cash. This is their hustle too. These guys know the places where people easily make driving errors (most likely due to lack of adequate road signs) and they will be waiting for you. So just be careful!! 12 Likes |

northbird: Once I see Lagos Island on an incoming trip, I just remember how IFHSR's guy saved me twice. I don't go near that zone anymore, except of course it's on a Sunday and it's on ×1.9. I saw it last Sunday and I couldn't resist. 6 Likes |
