I think this is true. I submitted with mbs, IELTS result and upfront medical. My eligibility review started 2weeks after (3days after my biometrics), I guess because I did biometrics late maybe it would have even started earlier.

Application submitted May 14th, I am waiting for PPR already grin grin

When did you get your biometrics done? Did you receive an email when your eligibility started?
I submitted my application on the 15th, did biometrics 18th, and upfront medicals today, 26th. Eligibility is yet to start.

It will end in praise for us all.

There are dates for next week on Qlife. Check their website.

Please who can help my friend get earlier dates for medicals, he won’t be in Lagos on the days that are available on the Qlife and IOM’s portal.

Hello JustMellow and other gurus,

Please I have some questions. I came on this platform after I had submitted my application. After reading about other people’s PPRs and the documents they uploaded, I realized that I didn’t upload some important documents to prove my home ties and other assets; my land document, my car, my ielts result L 8.5 R 7 S 7.5 W 7 and some pictures of my husband with other family members.
My LOE was only 2 or 3 pages. I didn’t outline any payment plans in my LOE. I only sent my dad’s statement of account (naira), certificate of valuation of his properties worth over 400m per property and my husbands statement (naira and dollar) as they will both be supporting me for my education.
I also sent a letter from my current workplace but didn’t send any salary or my personal statement of account (I work with a real estate firm and I get paid mostly commissions and not directly from the company).

Is it necessary to include my personal account statement?
If I don’t include it, will they think I don’t have personal funds to take care of myself?
Or is my dad and husbands finances ok to convince the VO of my financial capability?

I sent a web form to them on Monday (Nairobi and Lagos offices) and I included my ielts, car documents and pictures, land documents and the pictures with my husband and some other people and family. They haven’t acknowledged it until now. I dunno if I sent to the wrong VO? Or is it that they don’t accept any other document once someone has submitted her application?

Please I need some clarifications. Thank you
Whatever you have not submitted, you can still submit it through Webform. But your personal statement of account is important. If you don't submit your personal statement of account, going by what you have submitted above, they might deny you for not being established in your home country. And when submitting your Personal statement of account, Make it MyBank statement.
Mind you, they don't always acknowledge a receipt of Webform or Email, but surely they're already working on the new documents you sent.

can 2milion be enough to process everything including school fees and others... Wanna be sure before I embark... I sendlt you a pm
It can never be enough

Tuition amount for international student is most time around a Minimum of $15,000 CAD Dollars (Canadian Dollars), it can aswell be 18K CAD, 19K CAD depending on the college. Check the Colleges mentioned and check their tuition amount for international students.

Let's assume a college's tuition is $15,000 CAD, that's around 5.1 Million Naira

Compulsory Living Expenses of at least 1-year - $10,000 CAD , that's around 3.4 Million Naira

Which is a total of 8.5 million to 9 million naira

The above is just an estimate

In a nutshell, Financial Readiness is very essential

Hello, I wish I can help but I can't. I even looked for people I can borrow money from when I was processing my application....it just didn't work out. I will suggest you start looking out for schools that offer funding. Send to at least 3different schools that offer funding. You might also want to consider going for a thesis based masters instead of a course based program.

Mcilfero:
Hello Nairalanders. I have been following for a while now. I have had admission since February (M.A Communication at MSVU) but proof of funds has been a major problem up till now. I have no sponsor who has that kind of money and neither do I have that money as well as I am currently unemployed. I feel pained mostly because among those we applied together, my admission came first and I have even helped another person process admission after mine and those people are currently applying even in other countries ( I have asked questions on their behalf many times on this forum) I do not want this to go like this now that it's my turn. I am open to helps, suggestions and advices. Please if you have contact of anyone who can help, please do not hesitate to drop them for my sake Sirs &Mas. God bless you

Which one is CBSA?
CBSA- Canada Border Services Agency.

When requesting for your gcms note on these sites.
You will be given options to apply via CBSA or IRCC....not all sites have the CBSA option though. Also, IRCC do have more gcms note requests compared to CBSA. Hence, CBSA note is recommended to avoid delay and for a more detailed note.
