This is no hyping but fact

Sweden ,Austria ,Denmark ,Wales Ukraine ,Czech republic

None of them get players pass us

I am open for a serious arguement ,and mind you these teams I mentioned qualified for the round of 16

You're right bro. It will be painful if our current group of players can't boast of any trophy despite how good they are.

Honestly I feel the same way. Especially after finding out Mexico will use their foreign based players. If I were in charge of Akwa United I would not allow my players to honor that call up.

And those players will honor the callup regardless. Just think about it, who would shun the opportunity to play a decent side in LA - the entertainment capital of the world. Once in a lifetime opportunity.

What do Nigerians really want? Imagine him calling up Kano Pillars players instead of Akwa United, these same peeps will start shouting Fulanization or quota system BS.

I still maintain that no team in this Euros can defeat the Italian team in normal or extra time.

No All North African CAFCL final for the first time since 2016.

These North African people have hacked this club football thing

He's being realistic. I said it earlier, that the friendly will be 4-nil least.

Forget realism... As the coach,he isn't supposed to say it.. At least not publicly..

It seems like you underestimate how much impact his words can have on the team's performance...

Look at the Euros... See small country like Hungary giving the big boys headache.. See how Austria held Italy yesterday.... If Rohr was their coach,he would be telling the to settle for mediocrity

They didn't hack anything jare... They have very good sports infrastructure, that's why... West African teams that are dominating national team competitions are doing so largely with the help of European countries that are developing their players..
Shift away from football to other club sports, and north Africa will still dominate...

Please talk what u know. Don't come under my post and talk about quota system because u have never heard me say anything like that before. This is a full blown season and Akwa is going for their first ever league trophy. Why would any true fan of the club be happy about any of this?

clubs are owned by state governments and the players are not silly enough to believe that they actually have a chance of getting in Rohr's team. U guys just don't care about the league that's why there is no outrage. U won't see the English national team setting up meaningless friendly matches at the business end of the season even if it were for league one teams

I don't mind u guys not caring but the real annoying part is that a month from now we will start reading clownish comments about why the league is trash.

Imagine a club stopping a player from honouring NT call up, how do you think that player will feel?

I have always maintained that this friendly is very meaningless. Anybody that says otherwise should tell me one point of the friendly?

We can play regular, more beneficial friendlies with other African nations during international break at a cheaper cost than this holiday to the US.

Abeg make dem free those players for their clubs jor.

Of course he can't, I'm not his side either but those European teams have facilities and trainings that can guide one even without talent. They also have academies that teach a lot, especially discipline and majorly everything that makes one a pro.

@Bascovanveli How is the transfer policy in the league Mbok?

Is it that a player can easily walk away from his club to negotiate deal with another club or what?

It's about time that our football team has a national training centre with gyms, cafeterias, training pitches and other amenities. It is long overdue at this point.

So true. Europeans edge over others because they invest and believe in this so much.

First off he walked away from the national team not his club. Plus how do you know that his club is not involved? Then again players always leave their national teams to complete deals so there is absolutely nothing to see here.

Their clubs refused to release them because they had important matches. Both situations would be exactly the same.
