PLAGUED by years of interminable Islamist terrorism, banditry and other unbridled security challenges, Nigeria’s ability to feed its mammoth population is becoming highly questionable. Already, millions of Nigerians are unable to feed like they used to do. With insecurity deteriorating to an extraordinary level, there is a real threat of hunger looming large over Africa’s most populous country. Nigeria occupied the 10th position in the 2020 Global Hunger Index where countries like Afghanistan, Haiti and Chad prominently featured among the ten hungriest countries.Source: https://punchng.com/Editorial/There-is-looming-hunger-in-the-land 27 Likes 5 Shares

To make amends, Nigeria should refocus on security. Much rests with Buhari and the 36 state governors. Open herding is disrupting farming among the small-holder farmers. An editorial with solution proffering.. This is the kind of an editorial Nigeria media should focus on not all this blame game. Nice one 170 Likes 11 Shares |

. . . Cocoyam, Ghana type to the rescue. . Note that there is a certain cocoyam that is usually grown in swampy forests. It's not always owned particularly by anyone. This thing just grow anyhow in the swamps. Invest in cutlasses acquisition before the time the said looming hunger will strike. You will need the cutlasses to deal with the thorns and dig out the tubers. Thank you! . 20 Likes 1 Share |

Will Buhari and minions listen or they'll continue to bask in self deceit. The hunger that's ravaging the land is largely insecurity induced. 4 Likes |

Dear zombies, please don't worry. The hunger will never reach you. Buhari has provided a special market where you and your family members can buy foods cheaply. Only Wailers will experience the hunger. So, you can continue in your Zombified way of life. Nothing do you. Monogamy, sirjamo the hypocrite, madridguy, mannabbgrills, letthrmsay, thatfairguy1, seunmsg, johnmartus, simplyleo, take note. 40 Likes 2 Shares |

In 2015 it was all propaganda against Apc by PDP. In 2018 it was wrought caused by the previous goverment, in 2019 it was farmers vs Herdmen , in 2020 is was end Sars and oil price. In 2021, it's is igbos and Igbos says Lai Muhammed. The hunger must go around till we put away sentiment and agree this guys have a diffrent agenda Than fighting for Nigerians. 13 Likes 2 Shares |
