[quote author=Pinkey2021 post=103113192]IT IS PPR MY PEOPLE!!! WHERE ARE MY FELLOW MARCH FOLKS??!!! GOD IS TOO MUCH. PLEASE NOTE: VERY VERY VERY LONG POST!!! This journey started last year (click on my moniker to read my first post on thread 18 to get an idea of what I’m talking about). CANADA HAS BEEN A BIG DREAM OF MINE. I’VE BEEN ALMOST EVERYWHERE BUT CANADA (LOL). I PRAYED THIS APPROVAL INTO EXISTENCE. I FASTED, KEPT DOING MIDNIGHT PRAYERS AND JOINED NSPPD PRAYER ALTAR WITH PASTOR JERRY EZE DAILY, BECAUSE THERE’S A HUGE POTENTIAL BUSINESS/CAREER OPPORTUNITY I’M HOPING TO EXPLORE IN CANADA AFTER MY STUDIES AND THIS ROUTE IS THE BEST WAY I KNOW TO ACHIEVE IT. THROUGH THIS ROUTE I’LL BE KILLING THE PROVERBIAL TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE, (THAT IS GETTING A CANADIAN QUALIFICATION WHICH WILL AID A GREAT DEAL WITH THIS PARTICULAR OPPORTUNITY). AND TODAY GOD DID IT!!! Background Check: commenced 5th March, 2021 Upfront Medical: 25th February, 2021 (submitted with my application on 4th Mar. But was only updated on 16th June same day after I resent it) Ordered GCMS Notes: May 25th Received GCMS Notes: June 24th (nothing much was in it). Was contemplating sending another one next week. Eligibility Review: commenced 24th June BVL/PPR: June 26 Going for a 1yr PG certificate. This was a 2nd Application. First application I did not include any of the above documents. I was a complete novice. (Lol). I didn’t even include my Tuition receipt or CAC or property docs, nothing at all, just my LOA, qualifications and passport that’s all. But thank God for Nairaland where I learned everything I needed to know for a successful application (especially, as a self-sponsored applicant). Also, since I didn’t include vital docs in my last application, I decided to overload them with documents this time around I keyed in to @justexcellent testimony of his approval and wrote out the same prayer points he used while I fasted earlier this year. God bless you all richly and establish us in our quests for destiny fulfillment. A big thank you goes out to @frankrobbn, @justmellow, @justexcellent (for that wonderful and inspiring testimony), @lekiboboe for your tireless constant help here, and of course to everyone new and old who has contributed to the success of this thread thereby helping fulfill destinies. God bless and reward you all abundantly in Jesus Mighty name. End Note: my love letter arrived while I was praying this morning by 4am. Didn’t realize it until I checked by 12noon thereabout. Didn’t know they send PPRs on Saturdays!!! INDEED WHAT GOD CANNOT DO DOES NOT EXIST. [/quote Congratulations sis, I'm so happy for you. JEHOVAH over do is now at my neighborhood, please miracle worker, graciously give me my own PPR too. Amen 3 Likes |

buzzme: Oh God I am getting confused, the visa fee is the same as the application fees to get admission into a DLI school right? Like if I want to start a study visa application , I need to get admission into a DLI school first, is getting admission into a school free or I have to pay and then I know I will surely pay for visa fee. 1 Like |

I am about applying for my a study visa for the second time but this time outside of Nigeria but I got a friend that travelled to Canada this year January and he told me if I can wait till next year before I apply again said things seem somehow rough to get a job and also study and he is really walking on a thin line with funds that COVID has affected some things and the economy is just recovering! Is it true? Is there someone that entered Canada this year with a study visa? Or it might be in his own state, what do you guys think please |

Hello everyone! For one's sponsor (parent) whom is into palm oil, poultry farming, piggery and cocoa farming business but no CAC documents because none is registered.(just normal buying and selling...) Is it advisable to just register it now while preparing to submit my application in sept for Jan 2022 intake?(I don't know if the date of reg. might be somehow to the VO) Or can we just provide receipt of selling to customers, for prove of the business(es). These businesses are just to show source of funds from my sponsor while studying. Is many receipts of different years/month/season prove my sponsor is into these businesses? Thanks! |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by olasubomy: 6:19pm On Jun 27, 2021 |
HorlarJP:. Your friend told you the reality of things, but I don't think you should delay applying for your visa on that ground. You can always make your decision when to travel to Canada when your visa application is approved. COVID put some strain on job availability, but there are still some jobs in high demand, most especially essential services, like retail outlets, courier, health services etc. Most of these jobs will be menial jobs that you can start with to sustain yourself while you study. The country is planning gradual re-opening so hopefully, things get into shape when you get into Canada All the best,. 1 Like |

Teemenzo: Career progression is not only when you have a bsc and going for master, to me is when you're acquiring new skills to develop yourself either educational or career wisely. I have seen a PhD that pursued bsc in another field and on case what you're is in line to your field. It just depend on how you can structure your SOP to convince the VO! My view! |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Teemenzo: 6:25pm On Jun 27, 2021 |
Jerryjack022: Thank you, i have actually made up my mind to go for the animation and I'm already preparing the SOP before the admission. Since i couldn't find anything related to what i want. Thanks once again. VO will bow to God's will. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by shupy: 6:55pm On Jun 27, 2021 |
Jerryjack022: I have emphasized on the importance of progression severally on this thread. An application attribute that has a low approval rating should not be encouraged. You know 1 person that got approval in a situation doesn't negate the fact that over 90 people would be denied in similar situation. It doesn't matter how convincing an SOP is, one can be denied solely on ground that there's no progression. They see us as immigrants seeking better life and not genuine international students. They are not wrong. So one needs to try to eliminate every possible red flag and hope for the best. 3 Likes 1 Share |
