The whole story of redemption somehow not logical. It generates much questions than answers it intends to proffer.
Why would a third party die for a sin not committed?
Why Jesus? Why didn't God destroy the Devil for once? Theologians in the house over to you.

Wouldn't it prove that Satan was correct when he lied that humans could rule themselves and God's governance wasn't the best?

Satan is not dead and we can see he is the main liar and deceiver! Man has not been able to rule himself. Man's government has failed.

God's sovereignty is vindicated.

Study The Bible With Jehovah's Witnesses! by MightySparrow: 2:34pm On Jun 25
Jesus =
Archangel Michael = Firstborn from the dead = beginning of God's creation = Alpha and Omega = The beginning and the end = the judge of dead and the living = Everlasting Father = only begotten Son = Only begotten of the Father = Express Image of invisible God = in him all fullness of Godhead deelleth bodily = creator of visible and invisible, in him all things consist = he created all things including himself= He fills all in all = God

Bros, you claimed Jesus is God.
Why would redemption be logical to you since your God, Jesus killed himself, not Satan"?

grin grin

Your Triune God has been assiduously making plans to come to earth to die in the hands of men, why would the 3 of them have the time to plan for destruction of the Devil? grin

Whenever i tell MightySparrow that the only group God is using to dispense spiritual food is JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES he will say "delusion! delusion!!"
Now it's obvious that he is totally lost as he can't even see reasons with what the Bible said about God, Satan, Sin and the sacrifice made by God's Son!

And he is willing to listen to this idiot only for the useless fool to start spewing gibberish.
What concerns JWs with you and the OP?
If you have something tangible to say, say it and let people learn from what you've got not leaving the whole issue to start talking about another group! cheesy

My dear.
The moment you understand why God, who created Satan has refused to kill him for peace to reign, then the whole scam becomes very clear to you..

It's that simple.

Why would God destroy a creature who serves the purpose for which He was created so very well - Satan? :-

The fault lies here with man, not Satan. So why hate him for no real reason? undecided

Have you not read it in the scripture how the lamb lay down his own life? And that his sacrifice was acceptable because he was sinless.

Even if lucifer wanted sacrifice his own life too, it won't be acceptable because he is a transgressor

1. Why would Satan want to go against his programming in such a way? This is how we end up asking the wrong questions instead of the right ones. undecided

2. The OP is obviously chuck full of the generic version of the story that goes around out there, hopefulou seeking instead for the koko of the story here. Saying the lamb laid down His life means nothing here... What did the lamb lay down His life for? Why? What was the end result? undecided

The simple question is why Jesus and not the devil.
May I should add another, ' why is plan or redemption taking so long a time since the Fall? Meaningful answers biko

We can't see anything. Some people have only written down something

Of course you can SEE something but you just decided to remain blind to the truth!

The people that wrote what's in that book are all dead by now so they have no power to actualize their writing which means if what they penned down was fabricated then it will not have anything to do with the future. But in this case this people are dead and what they wrote is happening thousands of years after.
Does that not implies that the real Author is alive just as the writers asserted?

All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness 2Timothy 3:16

For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were moved by holy spirit. 2Peter 1:21

I'll give you just one instance!

In the Bible Isaiah and Micah both predicted (prophesied) that a time is coming on this planet when people from all races will

©submissively come under the inspired words of the God of Israel.

©reason together from the book (Bible) and use what is written to settle all the differences between them.

©divert all their resources to production of food and other useful materials.

©not use weapons against one another and they will forgo military services! Isaiah 2:2-4; Micah 4:1-3

For your information, this is happening today as Jehovah's Witnesses are doing exactly what these two persons predicted. Some Bible scholars from America just began gathering together in the late 19th century and gradually they went throughout the earth with a message of LOVE, JOY, PEACE and HOPE and today people from all over the earth have subjected themselves willingly under this organization just as Isaiah and Micah predicted, they've settled all racial prejudice and political unrest affecting all other people to the extent that even people who hate them are saying "Jehovah's Witnesses love themselves" John 13:34-35

So if you're not seeing this it's because you've not being observant enough! Matthew 5:13-16, 7:16-18 smiley
