Good evening all. My cousin applied for an 18 months masters programme in UK January 2022 intake and would like his wife to accompany him as a dependent. Her international passport will expire August 2022.

A Nigerian immigration officer advised him to get a new passport for his wife as no country will give her a visa beyond the duration of the validity of her passport. Pls is this true?

Can she get an 18 months visa on december 2021 when her passport will expire August 2022?

Yes you can apply for reprinting. I can't recollect all now but I know your request will have to come from the Principal if its May/June. I learnt it can take between a month - six months before you have the reprinted copy. I suggest you visit their office for detail information.

1) How do I make payments for Visa and IHS

2) Anyone here applied to Glasgow Caledonian University? Did you do PRE-CAS interview?

3) I was given a conditional offer in GCU and requested to upload statement of purpose. I've submitted the requested statement of purpose. What could be delaying my unconditional offer?
And can I go ahead with deposit without having received unconditional offer yet?

Yes after the visa is granted you can remove it, although some say they still could confirm at the point of entering uk but on rare and suspicious occasions.. if you can leave it till you reach UK, pls do whichever is convenient.

If you feel you still have enough time, request for a reprint if not you can proceed but your school can ask you to confirm its truly yours. WAEC also issue confirmation of result to Institutions.....not sure if it carries your picture tho.

You are 90% safe since you will be printing your statement on Wednesday (28 days) or Thursday (29 days) and apply immediately. Let us pray that Oanda do not rise before you apply for visa.
