Let us use equity for admission to unity schools and all federal institutions. Then we will know how far. When the bar is lowered for some people based on ethnicity mediocrity will always be entrenched in the system.

Buhari's head and and mind are skewed to see wrong as right. He can deny all he wants but posterity will remember him for what he is; A tribal bigot and a religious fanatic. A nepotistic, vindictive and wicked being.

[quote author=Amaechi2023 post=103155990]news telegraph should do more in listing out all the appointments made by president Buhari and their states of origin.
they can do that so we ourselves can decide where the nepotism is coming from.
you can't just give us words like a mere commoner, rather give us facts and figures.
the ministerial appointments were evenly distributed across states and regions so also was the service chiefs..
It's no more a news that Buhari is a stinking tribal he-goat. Tribalism oozes out from him heavily no matter how his stooges try to cover him up. Such a man is not found worthy to even be a primary school teacher not to talk about the office of the president

Expecting Buhari to change in his old age is total self delusion.

A leopard can never change its spots.

Buhari has always been and will always be a bigot.

It's the way he sees the world.

Deep Quote
Citizens suffer when there is a bad leadership in power/position.

We need young visionary leadership that will appoint Technocrats and not structure appointments using ethnic criteria or nepotism or party affiliations like it's been experienced in Nigeria.

@Seniorwriter

We need visionary leadership simple, regardless of age (and citizens who pay taxes)…
We the young people on Nairaland, by the many crude tribalistic posts here, have not shown themselves to be better!

When Jonathan was there, we said he favoured South.

Can any president free from this allegation?
As long as any name they see there sounds something like Mohammed, Mamman, Ahmed or Bashir, they will keep screaming "marginalization". Forgetting that every president's close aids and personal staff should consist mostly of people close to him; those he can trust. I only have issues if and when the bias is made in appointing ministers and heads of parastatals. Even so, the North is not just one small region; it is a large section of the nation that is made up of three geopolitical zones and includes the middle belt and the northeast: people who have nothing in common with the president. It doesn't matter whether or not you like the president, this is politics. My full name includes Ibrahim and Yusuf. If tomorrow I am appointed minister or head of the EFCC, people in the south will shout "bias!", when I am neither Muslim, Hausa nor Fulani, though I am a Northerner.

2. Does "they" include Plateau, Benue, Taraba, Kogi, Kwara or Nassarawa? How have these 6 state benefitted from the "quota" appointments?
Is any one from any of these states in charge of Police, DSS, Civil Defence, Army,Customs, Immigration, Prisons? How many are in NNPC or NPA?

I wonder if a southern president comes in and do same to the North, how will they feel?

Those elites like the Sultan of Sokoto, El Rufai, Kwankwanso, Ganduje, Masari, David Mark, Sheikh Gunmi etc, are all keeping quite now o.they should remember power does not last forever!
