that score is low for pharmacy. You can try nursing though.

My nephew scored 184 and intends to study biochemistry in FUOYE she told me the cut off for the course is 180 but are there any chances of her gaining admission to the school and if not which other university do you suggest can choose her with that score

With that score, A POLYTECHNIC is the best bet.

Because even if that "180" is the cut-off mark for that institution. She'll need to score very high in the POST UTME exams, say 75 upwards to stand a chance

I will love if you can consider medical radiography. It's a great course, bro. I will pick that course over nursing and other paramedical courses. Talk about suppy and demand,then you got a course where the demand is on the high side compare to the suppy (workforce),both local and inthe international scene. Saturation ,or even over saturation could take effect inthe long run,like 15+ years,on the projected minimium . But for now,it's THE hot saucy cake of modern medicine! Competition is kinda average,partly , to focus of most aspirants on medicine,pharmacy and nursing science,and hugely, to lack of awareness and information. Universities like BUK ,UNN ( the competition is crazy there!), unzik, those are the few i could remember,for now. Google search on it,but i know ,only few top universities offers it. BUK is your best bet,but insecurities in north could be a discouraging factor. Go ahead,do your findings. Remember,it's just an opinion,you decide whatsoever you do with it.

I doubt this. How would you compare Nursing with Radiography?? Like imagine in Nigeria as a case study, who even knows radiography exist nor their job prospects as compared to alot knowing about nursing? I'm not here for argument or further quotes but In as much as I respect the fact that both disciplines are cool but honestly to me and most people(i believe) NURSING will always be preferred over RADIOGRAPHY both locally and internationally.
P. S: I'm not underating RADIOGRAPHY,I'm only using real life/society instances.

@unknownartiste, tho such score is kinda low for both courses I'll advise you stick to nursing over pharmacy. About schs you'll be choosing I'd advise schs in the South-south region will favour you so the decision is up to you. All the best!!
