Have you done Hormone levels test? This could give a clue as to why He has the 40:40 elements in his sperm.

Is his sperm watery? Sperm becomes viscous when the underlying issues are addressed like ( infection, bilateral varicocele, male hormone balance).

Eating more green leaf veggies and strict exercise routine helps alot too after underlying issues have been addressed.

About the ACIDIC SPERM (uric acid) . This may not be a big issue. Its likely urine from his bladder mixed with the semen during its production (via masturbation) for SFA and semen analysis test. There are no doctors on this thread but ttc dads and mums.Count of 18m is not too bad. Latest WHO approved minimum level is 15m. However, other scales are not good. Motility should be at least 50%. Your morphology is excellent. then viscosity is watery, not good but no an issue. If the count is increased and motility improves, you wouldn't have any issue. In summary, work on your count and motility. Change your feeding habits, eat more fruits and vegetables, exercise, rest, keep away from artificial sugar, you can use pure honey or BSM, wear loose boxers, and keep your family jewel always cool. Keep away from cigarettes and alcohol. You can add supplements for faster effect. People use Fertilaid for men, count boost, motility boost, or you can use only fertility blend for men. Don't forget to visit your doctor for more investigations if no much improvement after 3months. You may be required to run hormonal assay or check for obstruction. Hope your wife also ran her tests, it takes 2 to tango.

Hello everyone.
My wife and i have been ttc since a year and half now but no luck. My wife has been found with no fertility issue as at 3 months ago.
Meanwhile, my sfa has been dropping since August last year.
It was 188 mil with 25% active in August. The analysis showed that my sperm has the growth of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. I used two antibiotics and consistently used vitamin C but fast forward to January this year, tsc dropped to 24 mil and 45% active. I used Addyzoa, a local concortion, vitamin C and vitamin B12 so it went up to 30 mil and 40% active in early March. The gynaecologist adviced i continue using addyzoa and multivitamin and i did but it dropped below 1 mil and 93% active in early May. I quit using addyzoa afterwards and start using herbal medicine perhaps things would change but my sfa result read no sperm (azospermia) when i checked last week. About 10 days before the last sfa test, i used a deworming drug containing Pyrantel pamoate. Could it be the cause?
Pls i need an advice on what to do next.

Sperm count: 74 x 10^6/ml

Motility: 80% progressively and and actively motile, 15% sluggishly active, 5% dead

Morphology: 50% normal sperm cell, 45% abnormal and 5% amorphous

Pus cell: 4-5/hpf
Yeast cell: nil
Red blood cell: nil
Epithelial cell: nil
Bacteria: ++

Culture
Yielded heavy growth of staphylococcus spp after 24 hours of incubation at 37°c

Antibiotics sensitivity: pefloxacin+++, rocephine+++, ciprofloxaxin+++, erythromycin+, gentamicin+

Resistance: streptomycin, zinacef, ampiclox, septrin

Aside the infection found is every other thing okay?

(Would be seeing a doctor over the weekend, married for 8months now and we are trying to conceive)

Shape... Sperm Not in good shape... That's motility bad motility... If you have 1million count and has good motility. And has 0% bacteria free. You chances are high... So all work on motility and bacteria. Leave sperm count alone... It will count fine when you have 0% bacteria and eat better meal to create good motility.thanks

Work on staphylococcus quickly if not the million sperms cell will be run down and your wife is likely to have PID as well

Thanks, she started treatment before i decided to run urine MCS and i came out "mild yield of staph and zinnacef was recommended. I am just surprised to now see on the semen culture that it is now resistant to zinnacef. I got in touch with a doctor who said i can take rocephin injection for 5days

Try and study her ovulation period as well and know when you meet. Also while you're taking the treatment abstain from sex. Change all boxer wear and her own as well. Also be mindful of where to use a toilet when not at home. Very important,just some precautions
