Do u understand how the price of fuel, increase in electricity tariff, insecurity, and exchange rate affects the price of goods and many other things in Nigeria?

Buhari's Government has failed everyone. I just can't imagine how we got to this point.

You got to this point by accepting nepa bill as certificate, and elected a cattle rancher to run the most complex country and potentially biggest economy in Africa. Its like asking an old man in the village, who only rides a bicycle, to come and pilot an airplane.

In other words, they want a subsidy on flour and ingreidients.

If we do that, in a few years, we would import all the flour used in Nigeria.

They should increase their prices. They have no choice. The issue is, government has not done anything about buffering the naira at all.

At this point, anybody that is supporting Buhari is just trolling abeg... Taaa!!!. Wetin!? Even if na my cousin.. The country na cruise ship on autopilot, we just dey wait to crash shaa.

And at the end of the day, the imports would swamp the country, leading to the closure of many domestic flour industries, leading to increased joblessness...to say nothing of increased flight of forex from the country...economy suffers.

my problems with Nigerian companies and other local vendors is that they too like profits gains unlike costumers satisfaction, when they increase the price of things they won't want to bring it down again even the dollar is down they will still leave it there...
in a Lagos BRT bus ,the price was increased from 250 to 500 during lockdown because they government said where two people use to sit down, its one person, now even when they are now carry people fully,the price is still 500. how can I explained the reasons

Whether you like it or not it still comes back to him. Insecurity has made farmers increase the price of raw materials due to less supply but high demands. Today grains are so expensive due to bandit. Farmers in the north now pay millions to bandits monthly to be able to access their farms safely.

I dare say it has, but even then, if the economy was 'okay'..costs rise due to a variety of factors than just the bad economy.

People want to be paid higher, machines must be upgraded, and then some materials for the flour making must be imported too....

Either way, government has to find ways to earn more forex for us by getting us off oil really.
