Biafrannuke: The thing is the igbo governors are sell outs. They will rather invade and kill their people than support them against the military all because they want political favours from the north. The army met a fierce resistance in the East and when they got frustrated they started abducting civilians and even burnt people's properties. 2 Likes |

Boudiccao:I'll hardly support a Biafra lead by Nigeria-groomed political leaders. I believe if one governor is "taken out" others will "sit up'' against military targeting of innocent civilians in their domain. Whether armed or unarmed, they love killing Biafrans. 6 Likes |

In the quest for your freedom, never you deal with "SYCOPHANTS", HYPOCRITES and HOOLIGANS..........Ras Kimono When musicians forsaw the future Sycophants in quote for a reason. They need freedom but would want to jeopardize your quest for your freedom cos they don't want you to outshine them. African man 2 Likes |

ivolt: Were you the one that stupidly reported this post of mine you just quoted? How come it's suddenly disappeared? Looks like some fool who can't deal with someone elses views prefers to go through the chicken route of reporting it for no reason just to have it deleted! Can't say i'm an authority on Ethiopia, its political history and internal wranglings, but suffice it to say that the bottomline is all indigenous groups have the right to self-determination! Assuming without conceeding that what you accuse them of is true.....that they 'developed their region to the exclusion of others, and fought a bloody war against the Eritreans', pray tell, how does the actions of the parents and forebears of present day Tigrayans' vitiate their rights as a people based on the United Nations declaration on the rights of indigenous peoples? It's the same lame, vindictive and primitive argument you lot use against Igbos, citing the quelling of the Niger Delta agitation by the Ironsi regime! You may just as well say Germans should give up their rights as a free and independent people because of the actions of their forebears in the 40s! It may probably be the case that the present regime in Ethiopia is as evil, bigoted and unfair to the Tigrayans' as the present Buhari regime is to some sections of Nigeria! In such a situation, you want to advocate they should sit down and keep quiet just because their region 'ruled the country for 27 years.....etc'? 6 Likes |

cocolacec:It is the other way round. The Eritreans blame Tigray for their war of independence that took lots of Eritreans, simply because Tigray was in charge of Ethiopia back then. Eritreans joined Abi to commit atrocities in Tigray, and are only just leaving Tigray now due to Tigray's counter offensive. 6 Likes |

ivolt: Daft position! If the US treats any part of its federation or groups the way some sections of Nigeria have been treated from the late 60s to date by those who feel they 'won' the war and Nigeria belongs to them, then trust me, there would be no United States of America today.....certainly not one as is presently configured! Igbos'/Biafrans' wouldn't be agitating for secession today if Nigeria operated the kind of structure and federation obtainable in the US! 8 Likes 1 Share |

A very big lesson to Nigeria! Even superpower nations like America and USSR couldn't defeat ragtag but determined indigenous people and they end up suffering humiliating defeat in relatively wretched countries like Vietnam and Afghanistan respectively yet a broke and totally disorganized country like Nigeria with poorly trained army always brag of war! Like seriously? These guys that always threaten Igbos with war must be grossly deluded if they think they can defeat Igbos in an all out guerilla warfare. We Igbos have the population, global spread and connections, huge diaspora population that can fund insurrections, and above all we are in an open region that is not hidden from the outside world. All these pro one Nigeria appologists really need to put pressure on Abuja to do everything possible in pacifying Igbos and entrenching justice in the system because time is fast running out! If these Igbophobic tendencies as a national pass time continues, it will eventually reach a critical mass when the majority of Igbos will say enough is enough, and it will be better to fight and breakaway than to continue suffering indignities. Nigeria definitely has a date with history!! 4 Likes |

Boudiccao:My dear, too many cowardly tribes in Nigeria is the motivation of the Fulani. If we had more tribes like Igbo, who born Fulani to try nonsense? They know majority of Nigerian tribes are cowardly. Only a few are giving them what they deserve and they're mostly smaller tribes like langtang, Tarok and Eggon. If we had another big tribe like Igbo resisting them, they'd have gone back to Futa Jallon. 2 Likes |

makemoneywbsite:But you are in the same country with Fulani the same Fulani is marginalizing you. You cry of injustice ,oppression by Fulani every single day. Why don't you bring your so call bravely to make Fulani cry the way you do? Where , is the bravery ?Igbos are one the 3 big tribes in Nigeria but they cry of marginalization more than the minorities tribes , this show s that you people are weak. 3 Likes 1 Share |

IGBOSON1: The American south were roundly defeated in the civil war and they remain the most backward part of the US till date. They top the list of poverty, lower live expectancy, school drop out and other underdevelopment index when compared with the victorious North of the American civil war that occurred 160 years ago. Can the same be said of the loser of the Nigerian civil war? The idea that secession is about structure, federation or marginalisation is a lie. All secessionists needs are opportunists with carefully crafted propaganda or timely disasters. FYI, Catalonia has better economy than Spain overall, yet they want out. Scotland which enjoy more government funding from the UK than other members of the union also wants out. Regardless of how losers of civil war were treated, any group which declare an armed independent state within the US will be destroyed. 6 Likes 1 Share |

BlakKluKluxKlan: Nah. Eritrea once supported the Tigray/TPLF against the Derg regime (Ethiopia). They later fell out. African wars are complex. Today have brothers joining hands to fight a common enemy. Tomorrow those brothers will join forces with cousins and backstab each other. The wars continue. I know this because I was schooled by locals when I lived in Eritrea from 2000-2003. 1 Like |
