Hello guys.

Considering the difficulty in getting interview date in Germany, I got admitted in the US and I accepted it. However, I have got a problem with providing a proof of fund of $22,600 (about #11.9m) which the school demanded that I submit before July 1 to issue me the documents to apply for my visa.

Does anyone here have an account that has up to this amount, please?

All I need is the statement of the account.

Yesterday evening I got intel that Nigerians are not making good use of the free tuition in Germany. The statistics show that Nigerians do not spend the required time to finish a master's program. I was told most spend 4years when the ideal plan is to spend 2years and leave, some others do not even attend lectures but rather just get a job and drop out from school. So technically, it's not like Nigerians are doing crime per se, we are not just going according to the objectives of the tuition-free agenda. This in a way would hinder others from coming because they are still enjoying the student benefits which was not intended for that long. With the Nigerian population, we cannot be the only ones enjoying free tuition in Germany. What she said was tending towards an unofficial ban on Nigerian students because other countries are getting dates and moving into Germany. At this point, I would drop the pen until I am proven otherwise about this issue. All the best with your plan B.

Bro abeg with all due respect leave all this story this might be true but it's not the reason for the appointment issue. Stop making excuses for them it's really pissing me off at this point. Are Nigerians the only problem of the world?
There's more to this than meets the eye so please everyone should just restrategize and stop pointing fingers. Why didn't they look at the number of people who successfully graduate and get a job. I had an issue with my bank and I called the JP Morgan chase bank in Frankfurt Germany. It was Nigerian who picked the call and even took the issue to the top knowing I was a Nigerian too calling from outside Germany he was extremely helpful and I was more than happy talking to him. So please we have enough against us let's not pit ourselves against each other. You can't control what other people do so in your own little way do your best and represent well. God bless

Please I'm trying to get the complete details of the bank fintiba uses.. Please anyone blocked money with fintiba should help me please.

Someone in Germany is meant to help me deposit the money but I have to provide the bank address.. I know it's SutorBank but the exact details I don't have

Pls it's urgent. I don't want to make mistakes

Ofactore:
I couldn't have said it any better.

I'm studying Mechatronics Engineering in Germany and I tell you, no be joke.
The academics is one part, keeping up with emails and messages is another. There's deadlines too; forms to fill, registrations to make, important decisions to make.

It's important we understand what it takes before we just jump all in

Don't forget the challenge of learning the language too. This A2 wey I reach, no be joke.

I hope and pray we get AD's soon. Though the are those that want to "japa", majority are actually students trying to make their dreams a reality.

God help us

There are more Indians than Nigerians in Germany. There are far more students who apply to Germany schools from India and probably Turkey, but I doubt if they are told due to "alot of applications" they will have to wait for almost a year to get an appointment (either pre or post covid time).

Also there are far far more students who apply to USA than Germany from Nigeria and there is no issue of "estimated time to get appointment is one year" because of "alot of applications" (either pre or post covid time)

What exactly is the issue with student getting appointment dates for student visa with the German Consulate in Lagos?
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by oxyba: 5:07pm On Jun 30, 2021
My theory?
We have terrible diplomats who barely care about the advancement of their citizenry

It’s only when you get public officials who care about your welfare that will be willing to negotiate and prioritize your plights in diplomatic meetings

The truth is always bitter, Germany doesn't owe us study permit...

We are the cause of our own problems, so because of the few that graduate and get jobs in Germany, the embassy should allow every dick and harry in?

They should communicate to the Universities because not everyone knows the situation of things now,a lot are trying to school in germany, thereby increasing the number of awaiting applicants for visa.

What do you mean every dick and Harry? God forbid this stupid mentality, tufia! Are you telling me every Indian or Pakistani that studied in Germany finished their studies within the allotted time? Or that they too don't drop out? Or that there haven't been thousands of Nigerians that have added value to the German economy after graduation? This generalisation is wrong abeg. We just have a government that don't care enough to look into the plight of their young graduates. They had better stop giving out admissions to Nigerians as a whole, then we know we are exempted from German university admissions, than this unnecessary delays.

Please those who got SL of recent, how long does it take to get the SL from the foreigner's office in Germany? My sponsor has applied for it since May 15th and sent every necessary document they requested but up till now no response yet. I guess it might be due to the covid but I want to know how long more can someone wait till it's out.

Please those that are in Germany should help out

Check your "Transfer Information Document". It's a pdf you get to download from the fintiba app/website. It contains all the info that is needed to make the transfer.

Please house,

I need information on the dual study program that happens in Germany.

Anyone that has done it before or knows someone that has should please tell or link me up.

My school is in bavaria and I would like to know how the application is conducted especially in search of companies or applying to the company.

Thanks.
