Hello please good morning guys pls what is the difference be Apostille and Legalisation do they do both of them differently at the embassy? What days can one book appointment for that? Pls I need urgent answers. Thanks
... You dont need Apostille if youre Nigerian, you only need Legalisation at the Embassy.. Apostille is system where your documents can easily be recongnized and accepted in poland after an Apostille seal is placed on it by any law firm because your country is part of The "Hague convention programme, so you dont need Legalisation. But Nigeria is not part of it. So for your documents to be accepted ad recongnized in poland you have to go do Legalisation at the polish Embassy... And Legalisation can only by booked on fridays via the polish Embassy ekonsulat website. Good luck.

Can one get visa without Legalizing his documents?

You do not want to walk down this road.

is there any danger in doing this?

Yes. You’ll eventually get to Poland and be looking for a way to DHL your documents and passport back to Nigeria.

Good luck surviving 2 hours without a visa and a good explanation to a non-English speaking Immigration Police Official.

No need to instill unnecessary fear . Perhaps U would have explained this way:

You can apply for visa before legalization. Just ensure that you legalize your docs b4 u get to Poland. Most schools will not allow you to start classes without your educational documents being legalized. Upon getting a visa If you fail to legalize your docs b4 arriving Poland you will be unable to start classes and you will have to send your docs back to Naija by courier for them to be legalized. This will make things a bit difficult. Though I know a few people who had to send their docs back to Naija for legalization once they arrived in Poland due to the difficulty in getting dates. But generally it is suggested and preferred for u to try and legalize your docs before leaving Naija. It will make things easier

Which one is this na ? Legalization and visa have nothing to do with the other on this Poland waka. U can get visa without legalizing your documents. Wetin border patrol get to do with your docs not being legalized or not na ... pls stop this ....The only draw back in not legalizing your documents b4 u get to Poland is that with most schools u will not be able to start classes and u will have to courier your docs back to Naija to get it done. It’s just stressful of course but has nothing to do with border patrol or visa
Pls read my previous post I have already explained in depth.

Please someone should come through for me on this. If someone is sponsored by his brother that lives in Germany. What are the required documents to present at the embassy during interview.

He has employment letter, payslips, sponsorship letter, resident permit, passport. Which other doc. And, is he going to send me the original or can he scan and send to me as pdf.

About translation, which of the documents should be notarized and sent (the original German document or English translation).

Thank you.

If u are referring to this poland waka,
Based on history and experience from Applicants in Nigeria the polish embassy in Nigeria prefers payslips from sponsors who are based in Nigeria. Not sure why this is the case, but like someone once mentioned on here, it may be because the embassy may have to go through more hurdles with verifying them. I also don’t know if this applies to applicants from other countries who use foreign sponsors. But I speak only about Nigeria because that’s the one I know. So If the sponsor is based in Germany or in any other country other than Nigeria the sponsor can open a Nigerian based credit card account at a bank in Nigeria in the sponsors name and fund it, then request a certificate of credit card limit in his name as the sponsor . He can then provide you the applicant with that certificate of credit card limit and also provide a signed and notarized letter of sponsorship. This will suffice as proof of funds for the Poland embassy.
Another option is you the applicant can open the Nigerian based credit card account in your name and your sponsor can fund it, then you the applicant can request a certificate of credit card limit in the your name and also the sponsor will provide a signed and notarized letter of sponsorship. In that letter of sponsorship the sponsor will state that he has funded you the applicants account perhaps as gift or something. This should also suffice as proof of funds.

In both options the sponsor will have to provide a copy of their government issued ID as well .

This goes for anyone who has a foreign based sponsor (meaning if your sponsor is not based in Naija then they can choose any one of the options mentioned above to prove the financial capabilities of being your sponsor to the polish embassy)

Hope this is clear ?

I have talked in detail about this in my previous posts and others have as well. Pls read my previous posts on this topic.

Pls note: I try to take my time out to be detailed about responses so people do not ask the same question again. Pls if you ask a question that has already been answered, do not mind if I keep referring u to read my previous posts or go through the thread to read from others.

Pls av got a problem and I need a solution. Applied twice and got rejected. Some ppl were saying that I was not going to get my visa to Poland because it was too early. My admission reads October 1 2021,and I began applying in April. I was rejected at first,I felt perhaps it might be cos of my flight reservation which had read May 31,I adjusted it with my insurance to fit into mid September 2021,but on appeal I got rejected again. Pls what could be the problem? I need help...cos I want to start booking my appointment again. Could it possibly be that it's from the date of resumption...I need suggestions and ideas...my agency seems lost...

Absolutely. If the embassy denies your visa application they will always provide a reason for denial.

Of course they do.

There’s a document with list of rejections and the embassy will highlight on which grounds you were rejected.

You receive the document with your passport after your first denial before an appeal. And in your case since you’ve applied twice, they should tell you on which grounds you were denied on.

Hi everyone, please I wanted to know if it’s possible to send a mail to a school that request for documents to be legalised that he/she couldn’t get to legalise his/her documents before the stated deadline but hoping to be legalised as soon as possible giving the reason of the difficulties been encountered in getting an appointment date for the legalisation.

Thanks

sure email the school and ask. That decision to let u legalize after admission is at the school's discretion.

Re: Polish Student Visa by Aremosarumi1: 11:09pm On Jun 29, 2021

What your agent is saying here is that you need to prove economic or social ties to your home country showing that you will return to nigeria . Usually this is stated in a NON-OBJECTION certificate which is a letter where you will try to explain/prove ties to your home country and prove that you will return back to your home country.
For example if you are married, have kids or have property like real estate that you are leaving behind then you will state that in your NON-OBJECTION letter and also attach the corresponding document as proof. So for example if in the NON OBJECTION letter you say that you are married and have kids and that you will be leaving behind your spouse and kids and returning home to them after your employment contract in Poland ends. Then you need to attach a copy of your marriage certificate and copy of your children's birth certificates.

@necz Nwanne you can add or subtract to my explanation.

@Aremosarumi1 please note that there is a separate thread for Poland work visa. You should have posted this there.
By the way your agent should know this na.

am sorry, I am still new to the platform, forgive me abeg, thanks for replying anyways

Re: Polish Student Visa by blessednendowed: 11:51am On Jun 30, 2021
@Aremosarumi1 I just want to clarify my previous post on your question about NO OBJECTION LETTER/CERTIFICATE so u don’t get confused or missed. So depending on your circumstance please note that your if your are a student for example your non objection letter could also come from an institution like a school, stating that though you are undergoing classes, and that your absence for travel has been approved by them with no objection to your travel and that you are under a contractual obligation with the university to finish your studies so you will return back after your work contract to finish up. So university can attach documents showing that u are still a student there, that u have paid your fees and a letter showing they have approved you to take a break from studies to travel and u are to return to continue your studies.
So that non objection letter can come from either an institution like I explained or can come from an individual could be from your husband stating that you are married and he has agreed with no objection for u to go work and because you are under a contractual obligation of marriage leaving behind our kids and your spouse, you will be returning back after your work to continue to take care of them etc. then he will attach your marriage cert, kids birth certificate etc. I just wanted to clarify that it’s u going to be writing the letter of no objection. It’s either gonna be an institution, agency or another individual. It basically states that u are under a contractual obligation of some sort and the agency or individual has approved your traveling for the purpose of work with no objection and you will return back to your home country once the work is done and continue with your contractual obligation. Pls post on the work thread any more questions u may have and I and others can try to respond there.

Please, is there anyone here who knows how I can go about this accommodation thing. I got an agent who says if I am gonna arrive in September, I would have to rent the apartment in July, pay both August and September rent. My issue now is that the August fee is more like a waste since I won't have be in the country.

Any help here.. thanks

I'm waiting for them still. Although I admit the delay is majorly my fault; did not submit complete documents (Eligibility Letter and UTME/ JAMB results alongside my initial application). I have re-submitted my application today and promptly received a mail from them to await feedback from my intended faculty.
