CHIKACIC:

I think he is suppose to first upload his immigration documents from IRCC (in this case the LOI) on his Humber Account page before he can register online and fill the below form for Humber to send his International Travel Letter.

Ask him whether he has done any of the above?

Hope this helps.

Yeah he’s done this already
Thanks
You have any idea how long it takes to get the travel letter?

You need a study permit to register in school fam, I graduated from humber college and a study permit is needed in order to register for classes.
No, you don’t fam. Not since post-covid; many people have even resumed and done tests and exam before getting sp. Even Humber college, things have obviously changed

Wow didn’t know this, but I thought study permit is given at POE or not anymore?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by KikkyQ: 12:34am On Jul 01, 2021
They have stated specific reasons that would enable them consider someone's visit as essential. Check the website. If you dont fall in any of the categories, the authorization wont be approved.
Mami1:
The written authorisation was not approved: That the purpose for coming to visit me is not essential or non-discretionary.

I mean, we included everything:

Quarantine Plan, travel itinerary, details on why they need to visit me and all.

Sincerely, I felt bad today.

It is still given at Poe. The reason they want enrollment letter is just to make sure the passenger is an essential traveler. I.e You can only travel when you have resumed or about to resume. They don’t want ppl traveling 2/3 months before resumption
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by maralina: 12:37am On Jul 01, 2021
Does anyone know how long it takes to get a travel letter from the school? (Humber college Specifically)
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Akannitommy: 12:38am On Jul 01, 2021
I don't think this is true for all schools as policy on this subject differ substantially.

In my school (Concordia University), I was still back home without a study permit but already had approval when I registered/enrolled. Infact, by the time I did, I was already too late to do it personally so my departmental graduate program assistant had to help complete the process on the back end.

In the current case of my niece who got admitted for Winter 2022 just 2 weeks ago (12th June) into a Bsc program at University of Saskatchewan, the school already invited her to register for her courses (6-months) ahead of resumption. This girl has not written IELTS, not booked medical, and I am not even 100% sure the father has made up his mind to fund the thing. She has not started gathering application materials for TRV/Study permit.

So situation differ and as common on this platform, there is never a one-size-fit-all universal explanation to most questions. Context matter!

Hello please my gcms notes just came in and I'm absolutely shocked no concrete reason for refusal. I've attached some of the screenshot s below.
Read Note 2 in your GCMS notes and you'll see concrete reasons for refusal.
Applicant is 19yrs,
1. The study plan does not appear reasonable given the applicant’s employment and education history.
Question: What did you study in the University and is it aligned with the proposed program you’re applying for in Canada?
2. The VO is not satisfied that the applicant would leave Canada because his single, mobile, not well established, and has no dependents.
Question: did you explain in detail your ties to Nigeria or attach any document like properties and so on.

Hi Fam,

This is long overdue but I want to share my testimony to the glory of God.

My second application was approved, I received the final correspondence letter today.

Attached are my first and second applications showing their timelines.

Short background story- my first application was approved in 2020 but I had to change DLIs, meaning I had to reapply for a visa because I wasn't in Canada (didn't have a study permit) to effect a change of institution.

Thanks to all the gurus ( ...@Frankrobbn) and everyone in the house for your unrelenting support.
keep hope alive guys, your success story is almost here.

What do you consider concrete reason? More than enough reasons where highlighted and you said you couldn't find any concrete reasons?

Be humble and tackle the concerns in your next application. If you maintain you don't see any reason and don't tackle the concerns raised ....
