Hi guys. Congrats to the proud owners of newly minted PPRs.
Please o, I applied on the 11th of February. Done only my biometrics, and I also didn't use the NSE route as my IELTS expired before I applied. Is it normal that there's been no progress at all.? Local man is apprehensive. Please share your insight with me if you have any. Many thanks.
Morning guys. Please is there anyone who submitted in February still awaiting a decision? My agent advised to hold off on the medicals. Could this be the reason why, for almost 5 months, not a peep from the VO? Anyone?

God of perfection, this is the month of perfection please, perfect all that concerns my application with IRCC in the mighty name of Jesus. Let me and all PPR hopefuls rejoice and testify of your goodness oh Lord. Amen.

Why have you paid the initial deposit? I paid and I was give an unconditional offer which was submitted alongside my application

I had unconditional offer as well.
I will get another unconditional offer this month. I'm a third time applicant Sept 2020, May 2021 previously. Not paying shishi if I'm not sure of study permit

Go ahead and book your medical. That is the norm now.
Also request for gcms notes.

Please, go and do your Medicals. If you get Medicals Request now, when will you book it and get it done? Your best bet is to book for your Medicals. Stop listening to stupid agents

I concur with @EmeeNaka. Go ahead and do your medicals. You never know, submitting your medicals might be the catalyst for a speedy review of your SP application.

Yeah, they responded but eventually, the IRCC response was just that they're checking the eligibility requirements.

Yeah he’s done this already
Thanks
You have any idea how long it takes to get the travel letter?

Unfortunately, I don’t.

What is his school resumption date?
His travel date must not be more than one month before resumption.

Hope this helps.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Genyc: 9:21am On Jul 01, 2021
Why a visit visa though? And not SOWP? And study visa for kids?
Visiting visa has been on hold since onset of COVID and even some approved persons here were advised to withdraw their visit visa application and reapply and we’re all later approved

Mami1:
The written authorisation was not approved: That the purpose for coming to visit me is not essential or non-discretionary.

I mean, we included everything:

Quarantine Plan, travel itinerary, details on why they need to visit me and all.

Sincerely, I felt bad today.

My eligibility review has stayed for 16days now. Has it happened to anyone? I mean without problem like charge back or more documents?

The bolded says a lot about your agent. You are not in good hands. However, medicals is not the reason your application hasn't been finalized since you haven't gotten a request. IRCC officers are just negligent. I hope you have access to your account.

Okay sir. I have done. Hopefully I get it next week.

Thank you sir

Its more than just assets. Order for your GCMS notes and know the exact concern of the VO. Also did you add your work history, payslip, personal account statement? All this can also amount to personal asset and financial status.

owkay.

I’m not sure this is totally correct. The instruction is to present a negative Covid-19 test result not later than 72hrs before travel. And not 72hrs before travel.

I believe yours was almost later than 72hrs (hence will expire by the time you land in Canada) that was why the immigration officer at the MMA was pointing it out to you that your test result will soon expire.

The idea is to take the test WITHIN 72hrs before your trip, preferably a day before you travel.

“If you're flying to Canada, you must take a test within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time of your flight to Canada. Airlines will refuse boarding to travellers who are unable to provide a valid molecular test result.”

I’m not too sure about the arrival testing, but this is what I got.

Taking your arrival test
When you enter Canada, you'll be instructed to either take an arrival test at the border, or receive a home test kit. You may also get a kit to use on Day-8 of your mandatory quarantine.”

You can read more about it here:

Hi Fam,

This is long overdue but I want to share my testimony to the glory of God.

My second application was approved, I received the final correspondence letter today.

Attached are my first and second applications showing their timelines.

Short background story- my first application was approved in 2020 but I had to change DLIs, meaning I had to reapply for a visa because I wasn't in Canada (didn't have a study permit) to effect a change of institution.

Thanks to all the gurus ( ...@Frankrobbn) and everyone in the house for your unrelenting support.
keep hope alive guys, your success story is almost here.

Congrats, go and flourish in Canada

I don't quite understand. Do you mean anyone whose eligibility started and has stayed more than 16days without a decision? If that's is it....then yes...mine is a month already.... My friend's own stayed up to 3months before he received a decision. No 'more documents request, no charge back'. I feel that most of us will receive a decision this July....fingers crossed

What's required is the MyBankStatement certificate. Don't submit the regular statement if you're able to provide the certificate.

Hi Iffylove,

You can try the option of submitting a mybankstatement certificate instead. That one is just a one-page document, and you can submit it for one year transaction period. Except if the bank is not on the mybankstatement platform. Otherwise, that's a better approach.

All the best.

Proof of funds is always the hard part. My cousin had to source for a cheap loan to get the funds. He was able to get the whole money in less than a 3 days from one company. Tell me if you are interested, I can give you more info. But I think that's the best way to go.
pls I don’t mind if I can also put me through u can send me a mail on oginniolutoke@gmail.com
