Good afternoon guys,,,, I'm staying with my grandma she's quite old she's been complaining of pepperrish throat for a long but we didn't take it so serious This midnight she fainted but she already woke up All the symptoms in her body includes HEADACHES PEPPERRISH THROAT VOMITING STOOLING PURE BLOOD LIGHT STOMACH ACHE DIZZINESS guys pls am scared what should I do she's stooling pure blood and the dizziness is much she's about 70+ |

ToksZee: She should present at an hospital ASAP Maybe anaemia causing dizziness Could be secondary to a bleeding PUD The throat symptoms she has had for a while could be GERD Is she known with ulcer Any HX of weight loss or change in bowel habits Any history of weight loss? She would need to have a proper and exam and DRE, her PCV checked urgently She might need an endoscopy (upper and lower) Could be a bleeding PUD, hemorrhoid or colon ca In summary, this is an emergency and she needs to present to a tertiary facility asap 2 Likes |

Madam carry her to an actual hospital now! A doctor here can only advice based on what you tell him/her, whereas one in a hospital can do far more. Run tests, give drip(s), give injection(s), prescribe medicines etc! Dunno why people think that Nairaland is a hospital. 2 Likes |
