in every knockout football, there's always this team that's lucky in terms of fixtures, that doesn't make the tournament easy. Germany in 2002 had one of the easiest runs right from group stage till the semi final until they met Brazil.
Also in 2018 WC, Croatia knock out included Denmark and Russia which na still penalty dey use on both occasions in order to meet England in semis. Contrast that to France who met Argentina, Uruguay and Belgium to navigate just to get to finals. Reason why when people say France were not worthy winners, I just laugh.

So, denmark meeting "perceived" weaker teams to reach semi finals isn't something new. As long as it is knockout, it's almost a norm. So I wouldn't say this tournament is easy to win, it just depend on who you meet.
