If they say don't trade by the road side, you'll say the government doesn't have "human face". Someone needs to be bold enough to put an end to road side trading in Oyo state and Nigeria at large.

I like this prayer but I think we should be discussing how to prevent another reoccurrence rather than accepting this kind of bad thing to happen as an act of God's will.

God gives us this gift to think and look for better way of doing things.

If we fix things and do right such things won't happen. In the UK, have you heard where this kind of things happen? Are they more religious than us? Do they accept God's will even if a rare chance of it happened?

It's quite unfortunate.
Need for quality check from the company on their vehicles. Though I know Gasland takes safety as Important in their gas stations. It'll be a burden on the owner knowing her truck caused this. Condolences to the family of the deceased.

Not really, if the people stop trading in the middle of a main road they would not get killed by a moving vehicle, main road are for motors not for shops and street trading. If i were a lorry driver i will kiill alot of people trading in the road and on the road side until people stop trading in the road. Even after these avoidable accidents nigerians will still turn up at the same accident spot tomorrow and continue with street trading risking their lives. Ignorant nigerians.

It happens in those countries too but not often like our own because there are systems in place to checkmate such failure like speed limiting, genuine and regulated vehicle inspection etc.
