I thought the police initially said they were only there to ensure peaceful protest,did the protest later turned violent to warrant forceful dispersal and arrests? the police themselves continue to drag their own image in the mud daily due to poor reasoning n actions.

You need to revisit history. Even when Banjo plotted against Ojukwu, didn't Ojukwu kill him by a second tribunal.? Your knowledge of history is sure by "beer palour" talks.
