I ran a scan about a month ago and had the oxygen codes sorted out except the p0793 which I later discovered it was unplugged from the socket...got it corrected but discovered afterwards (kazeem assembly back) the check engine light was blinking and car suddenly started misfiring.... coz it was getting dark, I quickly inspected and suspects the exhaust gasket blows
My question, what would most likely cause the engine check light to be constantly blinking (I panicked the engine would blow up as I have never seen such warning on a dashboard, blinking check light)

I will run a scan today however will appreciate inputs from the house

Use the oil the former owner was using. Change often, and drain when car is still hot, so a lot of sludge will drain out

Please I discover my gear hangs for like 3 seconds while changing gears but only does this when selecting gear 3. Others selects smoothly

I mean, while accelerating, it hangs and releases forcefully with "paa" sound. I have actually scanned but gets only p0031 as fault code. A friend recommends i go for a higher more professional scanning tool.

I have got trac, vsc, abs and check engine light on my dashboard

Could it be a sensor issue or nah gear wahala

Hello Everyone. Trust we are doing great. I just got a Toks 2009 Lexus RX 350 today and I need a very good mechanic in Lagos, let me lay emphasis on a HONEST AND FAIR mechanic. A tested and trusted one, I dey fear people these days Oloun.

I am a lady and you know how mechanic will just be using someone to play draft by naming issues wey no dey der. The mechanic i use now sends my now former car back with new damages and sometimes repeat repairs which means double-billing. Please help me out as I need to service the Lexus and maybe do minor adjustments�

I also have a Honda CRV 2008 for sale if anyone is interested.

RX 330 never had a transmission problem even though its transmission (like every other modern transmission) is sensitive

On your steering column, you have an option stating DISP.......

Play with that DISP button, till you hit desired result.....

Light on gear indicator does show.

Fixes I made.
Scanned the car. Got B1626
Replaced the climate control buttons no results.
Replaced the AC Brain box not results.
Seller collected them back.

Please what can I do to fix this issue.
Other than these issues. car drives well.

If this was my Lexus, I would start my investigations here - :

- History of vehicle (What's the accident history of vehicle/flood damage history).....

- If vehicle is got no flood/accident history, I would breath a huge sigh of relief.........
