RalphJean:Not everything is about race. Not everybody with light skin is white. In Nigeria we call Indians, Chinese, Lebanese, Pakistani white (oyibo). Also noteworthy is the fact that the Scottish/ Irish people are constantly being racially abused by the English white people. So when u want start playing the race card, be sure the idiots involved are actually racist and not just acting the part. On a personal note I sometimes feel my father in-law is racist when he is drunk because of the constant jokes about Nigerian scammers other things Nigerian but then I blame the shayo 1 Like 1 Share |

AirBay: What led to this is that he's a narcissist, disturbing the whole house with his shenanigans just because the mother of his girlfriend refused to come settle him and his girlfriend. BTW his girlfriend's mother lives in the same house. He comes and puts on loud music, leaves the kitchen door open both doors whenever he's doing his washing. All these, I couldn't take it anymore. I'm not against him getting at his girlfriend's mother, but he shouldn't do it at the detriment of others. We are 7 seven in the whole house, if we all starts being annoying like him, would he be able to take it? I closed the kitchen he left it open and he called his brother on the phone and his brother asked him what he was doing with a black guy. Basically he punched me for calling him out as a racist. 1 Like |

Regex:My brother you are trapped in a family brawl. The number of people trapped/ living together in that accommodation is a stimulant for disaster like this to occur now present and in the future. Press charges for the assault and not on racial grounds and get your ass out of the flat. Live in accommodation with fewer persons preferably amongst fellow students . (Not necessarily Uni accommodation). Remember you are outnumbered in that house. Boyfriend, girlfriend, girlfriend mother na co. Just move Biko before you become statistics God forbid 4 Likes 1 Share |

Regex: What did you do or say that made him to punch you? I noticed that nobody is asking this question, everyone is quick to jump on the racist band wagon. Although that comment about ape is a racist comment and unacceptable. Nobody just punches you for nothing. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Regex: So you actually called him a racist first Pls for your health and safety, leave that house and do not call someone else a racist, he/she can sue you. Instead, get your evidence, report to the police. Also remember, keep your cool, you no dy 9ja where you fit drag side by side. A friend of mine who lived with some Caucasian students had to report to the accomodation agent when they would dispose all the plates, spoons, and cups he used in the kitchen he got a recording of them, presented it to the police and they were ejected from the house. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Regex: 1. His brother (ON THE PHONE) asked the question. Could you kindly let us know what HIS RESPONSE was, to the question? What is my deduction from this whole story? a. You and him have been pals (although you are miffed by his brawls with his girlfriend and others). b. He did not racially abuse you. You overhead SOMEONE asking him a question. c. You were the first person to call someone a racist, even though he has never acted as one, nor made any racist remarks at/or to you. Brother Regex, as I mentioned earlier, it will do you a lot of good to stop seeing people based on the presence (or absence thereof) of melanin. And to others on this thread, Before you begin to tell someone that a brawl is racially motivated, ask questions first. Unfortunately, we only get to hear an incomplete one side of the story, then we 'jump to conclusion'. Unfortunately, if the police are called on this case, and they conclude that indeed there was an assault but not racially motivated, we will start banging on about the police being "institutionally Racist" 3 Likes |

RalphJean: Bro, I do not know what you are saying here. I know for a fact I do not view any body based on their melanin being present or absent if not I would not have lived here, I would have chose an all black house and lived there. I do hang out with this guy and do lift with him, even go on a long run with him. I never had anything against him at all. But for his brother to ask him that, that means something sinister has been going on. I find it hard to pull the race card, I have been offended a lot but I don't even bother... But coming from him... When his brother said that, he didn't say anything other than, that's him. Also I'm not suing him for his racial slur, I'm suing him for punching me. He threatened to beat me up. 1 Like 1 Share |

Someone was talking to his brother, without saying a word to you. Then you provoked him because you allegedly overheard his brother asking him a question, to which he did not respond with any offensive language. Yet you chose to call him names because of what you believed you heard his brother say to him, not because of anything he said or did to you. Only for you to start crying ‘white boy’ this, racist that like a victim? Trouble sleep, yanga go wake am. Na you go lose the case las las. Dem never beat sense into your head. Tufiakwa! 4 Likes |
