And some people still see Buhari as man of integrity instead of a fraud. He doesn't want credible elections in order to maintain his Fulani ethnic group grip on power 66 Likes 2 Shares |

Why is the PDP so desperate for electronic transmission of results? It's like they have positioned hackers to tamper with results. While they are dreaming of hacking results, APC is busy poaching their governors one after the other. Abia state governor is next to decamp and then they will go for Adamawa. It seems like the more Nyesom wike makes noise on TV, the more ApC sucks the life out of PDP. 6 Likes 4 Shares |

The people that inserted that clause should be named . This suggests criminal intent to rig elections in the future. The Chairman of the page should be held responsible. These crooks are not concerned about network problem in the north. If they were, they would not have banned electronic transmission outright. They would have made a provision in that event. This doesn't even concern them. It should be left for inec to decide the process through its guideline if there is indeed network glitches to prevent electronic transmission. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

APC is at it again looking for a systematic way to rig election because they hav failed in every aspect of the economy. They want to dent the electoral system by removin this clause, knwing it wil help reduce any chance of result manipulation or padding. Uploading to cloud after collation at the election center is safer. Instead of them to think of improving our electoral system, they want to destroy it further. APC UR MUMU DON DO 10 Likes 1 Share |

It will be difficult for us to advance and move forward as a nation without mutual trust and enactment of laws and policies that will improve our national life and governance. Would it be so difficult to transmit election results electronically? 8 Likes |

This is their agenda, they want to make nigeria ungovernable causing chaos, thereby causing agitations and insecurity here and there,so that when election cannot hold in certain part of the nation, they wil then use the clause in the constitution that emdows the president to cancel election in certain areas due to voilent and insecurity, for them to remain in power thereby extending their stay in power. That is why his PA said they wil remain in power beyond 2023. Think of it 2 Likes |

Buhari is a disaster. The least he could do is to.pass the amended electoral bill sitting on his desk which he gave the excuse that there wasn't enough time as regards the 2019 election. Now we understand why they demonized and removed Saraki, because he was opposing every of their satanic and evil moves. Now look at their real intentions. obviously Buhari doesnt want the progress of this.nation. He has created more problems thats going to affect the progress and unity of this country for years to come. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

The Most Important Advantages of Electronic-Transmssion Are: 1. Quick Collation And Release Of Results. 2. No time for manipulations. (Any attempted manipulations can be easily spotted-out during the analysis of the figures) 3. The whole Results would be made fully available to the public in a very short time. There is nothing to hide anymore. 4. Citizens would monitor the progress of the Elections on the INEC Websites and INEC Virtual-Results-Portal rather than clicking on News and Social Media Platforms. 5. There are many many more. ... The only disadvantage is that; Many people “belived” that the process is very easy to hack.. But that's a very big fat lie. 5 Likes

My submission on this is that it's a clear case of conspiracy of the Elites against the Masses. 2ndly, PDP is a useless opposition party. Kola Ologbodiyan obviously can't match Lai Mohammed opposition intelligence. Nothing more to say. 4 Likes 1 Share |

The way these abokeys are dragging us back with them is laughable and a big shame on us for not seeing through their follies. Some of us did though, but the zombies will not listen! Now when people are moving forward, the archaic man under the rock is dragging is backwards seriously! For those saying PDP wants to hack, I'm sure APC and their stashed ransom and other ill-gotten wealth can spend more on hacking of inec's server, so why not just rig with less impunity, avoid loss of lives and rig with respect 1 Like 1 Share |

ogododo: . . Thank God For Nairaland.... If not, these men wouldn't be talking about this all-important issue. Read the quoted text below that was captured from the original post. “.... For the avoidance of doubt, the said document to be passed as the new electoral law of the country, does not embrace key concerns and yearnings of Nigerians, which includes, electronic accreditation using the card reader, electronic counting of votes, electronic transmission of results, electronic collation of results ....” The bolded portions above were discussed here on Nairaland (Front-page) not so long ago. And no other news media or blog carried it. Yet, it was presented here as the “Yearning Of Nigerians”. (And Not “Yearning of Nairalanders”).. 1 Like |

Foolish article. There are many risks and challenges with respect to electronic transmission of results. Including inadequate internet penetration and hacking which can easily throw confusion into the system. 1 Like |
