From the biblical perspective the was no big bang the universe came to be at the word of God.

For goodness sake, please humans, open your eyes, science as we know it is nothing but a system of belief. Just like Hinduism, confucianism, and any other thing on that list.

Most natural earth phenomenon have history of reoccurrence. Why has there not been a big bang again?

It is against reason for the universe to create itself, universe cannot be God because the universe has an origin while God does not.
