You're an arsehole!

Why are gloating over Alshabab terrorists killings. It's just as if you're celebrating them.

That's not gloating; that's correcting possible misinformation.

Does anyone think that the defeat of Ethiopia by rebels, and their capitulation makes it more likely that Egypt will carry out an airstrike on the dam?

According to Ethiopians in the comments section of YouTube those aren't there soldiers but instead are Tigray separatists dressed up like them. Don't know what there excuse for the capital falling is though.

What side are you on when it comes to the Dam fiasco?

I just thought of something interesting I'm suprised no one is talking about. We all know the coup happened in Mali and France is threatening to pull it's troop right? With the Northern Mali Insurgency still going strong and France gearing up to pull troops leaving Mali in the hands of a weak military dictatorship and getting suspended from ECOWAS & the AU it looks like it might lead to another 2nd ECOWAS Joint military intervention similar to the Gambia back in 2017.

Prepare people a Quadruple Front War between ECOWAS(Nigeria & Friends) - Mali - Azawad Tauregs - ISWAP is in the works and this time I doubt the Malians will lay down there weapons like the the Gambian military did. Nigerian & Senegalese Armed Forces are about to be working overtime Mali is about to become "African Syria".

I meant on the dam. I don't know if Ethiopia can defend it or retaliate

With or without Tigray issue Egyptians have everything to take the dam out cleanly without casualties but I don't see Egypt taking down the dam. Even when both parties were boiling over the issue nothing happened.

If Egypt takes it down I don't see how the Ethiopians want to retaliate. They have no Navy, I can still say they have no Air force and they don't share border with Egypt. It will only result to diplomatic issues not military.

What vehicles are those?
CS/VP14 MRAP from Chinese Poly Technologies. The MRAP has been in service with kdf in Somalia and was fisrt seen during the standoff between Ethiopian and Kenyan soldiers in Kismayu, Somalia 2019.

You go see mass resignation.
Those lots are satisfied with guarding schools and ballot boxes
Their commanders are also not ambitious militarily, if they want a larger share of pie, they should keep submitting proposals to the president to allow them to engage in some of these things

Good to hear
The Lagos house of assembly has passed an amendment bill of the Administration of the Criminal Justice Law 2015 of the state, which seeks to prevent the police from parading suspects before journalists.

The amendment bill, titled: ‘Lagos State Administration of Criminal Justice (Amendment) Bill, 2021’, was passed on Monday during a plenary presided over by Wasiu Eshilokun-Sanni, deputy speaker of the assembly.

In the amendment bill, section 9(a) states: “As from the commencement of this law, the police shall refrain from parading any suspect before the media”.

This implies that under the Lagos criminal justice law, it will be illegal for police officers to parade suspects before the media in the state.

In recent times, stakeholders in the criminal justice system have expressed concern over the parade of suspects by police officers — a recent example was the parade of Chidinma Ojukwu, a 300-level student of University of Lagos, for the alleged murder of Usifo Ataga, Super TV CEO, by the Lagos police command.

The amendment further stipulates conditions under which a police officer can arrest without warrant, one of which is that a person must be reasonably suspected to unlawfully be in possession of firearms or other such dangerous instruments.

According to a statement by Eromosele Ebhomele, chief press secretary to the speaker, the subsection of the bill also bars the police or any other agency from arresting a person “in lieu of any other person in a criminal matter”.

The bill adds that a person who is arrested “shall be given reasonable facilities for obtaining legal advice, bail or making arrangements for defence or release”.

The bill stipulates that a suspect should be “accorded humane treatment, with the right to dignity of person; not be subjected to any form of torture, cruel, inhumane or degrading treatment; be brought before the court as prescribed by this law or any other written law; or be released conditionally or unconditionally”.

The deputy speaker also directed Olalekan Onafeko, acting clerk of the house, to transmit the bill to Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos, for assent.

Neither, wars between countries should be left to Europeans. China is the only country with enough leverage to influence the outcome. Maybe once China hands over the dam, it'll probably burn from a mass drone strike

China has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Dam it's completely Ethiopian funded and the primary contractor is Italian.

Why?

No amount of support will give Ethiopian edge over Egypt except they will be there physical with a lot of NATO equipment.

...and yes, i would still support Israel over Palestine anytime.

Did you know Somali legal system carries out mass public execution.
With everyday life being difficult and with alshabaab delivering so much violence every other week and not to forget the violent history of the country. I would have imagined the government would do the opposite (at least publicly) inorder to counter the violence and appear to be 'the good guys' so to speak.

I meant African countries should not be fighting each other, Europeans have proven that they have the primitive propensity for killing each other, other people, and life in general .

Ethiopia has not been having good diplomatic relations with it's neighbors so they are kinda alone on this
