To "lead" in Nigeria you have to have no conscience. How on earth can you be the Governor/President sitting on so much money and the roads look like this? And in spite of the knowledge that the money belongs to the people, you have the ability to just look away. I can't do it o. It's like me having 10 plates of rice (that I can never finish eating) with me, and still ignoring someone rolling on the floor in front of me because of hunger. It takes a person with no conscience to just look away and ignore their plight.

Kindly watch out for quota system people (like the one above me) coming to use this thread to create an ethnic battle between the Yoruba's and the Igbos. Pay no attention to them.

Very much needed.

I stay in Agbado crossing, and can evidently tell you that the roads are nothing to write about; extremely bad. When going out, I take bike mostly to avoid (our bus) being trapped in the mud. What about the aged and the pregnant women that can't take bike? They'll be left at the mercy of the drivers, who may have to pass through inner streets to circumvent the menace of bad road network.

But then, I doubt if Gov. Abiodun will
do anything. The immediate past Governor, Amosun (now representing the area, Ogun Central in the Senate) has a stronghold in the area. Although they are in the same party, they are in different factions. Abiodun sees the area as his opponent's area. That's why he hasn't done any visible project there after two years in office. To make it worse, Amosun had a gubernatorial candidate in 2019 who almost denied Abiodun his mandate. He (Abiodun) only focuses on Ijebu, Abeokuta, Egba, Sagamu.

They residents have, however, resorted to self help.
