If you can conveniently explain the source of your finances without any ambiguity, then you are good to go.

You don't need to tell them about your Canadian moves, the less you talk about the better for you

nellytivities:
Good day guys. Thank you for the beautiful job you’re doing here. I sincerely need the input of the gurus here as I explain my situation. I want to lay it all out so that I don’t get denied again.
I have been denied a UK visa twice in the past and the reasons were just because I did not explain the other funds I received into my account asides my salary.

(There was one that people just sent me money on my birthday only with happy birthday narration ) but I was still refused.

Anyways, I have been to Dubai (twice), South Africa and Ghana and I work as a banker earning as much as 350k monthly. (My financial situation has improved since the last time I was denied).

I want to claim that I am living with my parents since I am single so that takes off the rent charges.

I have funds (about 5m) in my savings account that has been there for more than 6 months and all I do literally is just transfer from my salary account to that account with description of “savings”.

I am currently waiting to get the Canada express entry COPR and my last GCMS notes shows that I have passed eligibility.

My Question:

1. What is the best amount to say I want to spend in the UK? - I am travelling alone and will spend a total of 15 days ( including quarantine).

2. The amount I will state for the trip, does it include flight and hotel bills? I will appreciate a breakdown of suggestions.

3. I have been fully vaccinated. Should I state that?

4. Should I state that I applied for the Canada express entry and that I have passed my eligibility?

I’m probably just developing cold feets and I don’t want them to bring up an issue regarding my finance anymore.

I will appreciate all your responses. Thank you.

1. State the amount that you intend to spend. How much are you planning to spend?

2. I have personally never done a breakdown as part of my applications but I have also read here that people do so. Personally my budget is between £1500 -£2100 depending on trip duration mostly between 2 - 4 weeks.

3. Yes, please state it. Right now it's not a requirement for the UK visa but rules are changing quite quickly and it might support your application if you aim to engage in touristy activities.

4. It might be good to say this also as it could be a tie to ensure that you will leave the UK.

Regarding your finances, I have never had to explain fund inflows apart from adding my pay slip ofcourse I don't have an idea the sums you receive and the frequency but I don't think you are expected to explain every line item in your statement as long as there's wasn't a clear account boost.

Goodluck in your application, am sure other guys here will weigh in with more tips

Makes no sense paying yourself a salary. Rather what you should do is transfer your profit to your savings account from your business account and use that as your funding source.

Too many questions may arise with paying yourself a salary from your own business.

Thank you but I don’t have a business account. Just savings account. Can I keep paying that amount into one of my savings account and change the narration to for example, June savings?

@Justwise please......

Hello House,

Please I want to invite my mother inlaw (over 70yrs old) for 'omugo' (Child care) for our new baby. Please I need help with below.

She doesnt earn income again since she retired a long time ago, is it still compulsory she present her bank statement with fund or my bank statement and payslip is enough to proof we can take care of her?

I will appreciate responses.
Thank you.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by bigtt76(f): 5:08pm On Jul 06, 2021
That's a red flag. Open a business account and separate your business transaction inflows from your savings. It will help you when they ask you to provide your ties to the country and or your business account for them to see the inflows which is used to determine your intentions to return back to the country as well as source of income to fund your trip. Never too late to do the right thing

Hello@ justwise and the gurus!
Please we plan to invite my husband’s niece over for a visit to England soon.
She is a final year law student in a private university who is currently doing her final exams.
We want her to come as part of a promise to her , once she finished her law school.
Has anyone else been in our shoes before?
What are her chances of getting the visa (being that she is just a student finishing school)?
What kind of evidence can she and we provide to support her applications?
Please kindly note that we will be open to all opinions, no matter how honest they will be!
Thank you.

My husband and I invited my cousin without travel history, about to start his final year in 2017 and his visa was granted in two weeks. I was called to confirm some details and my husband was called too. A friend tried the same thing for her brother who has UK travel history and he was denied. I agree with justwise 50/50 chance.

If you need help with the list of documents we submitted and format of letters, i have it somewhere in my email, reach out to me via email, I'll be glad to help.

Hello Gurus in the house, I cannot explain enough how much this forum is helpful in applying the right way & getting visas, thanks to you all.

I have a question though. I have travelled to the schengen countries in past but have had two refusal from UK (Family visit) based on insufficient fund and unknown origin of deposits & in excess of declared amount.

And after learning the tricks from this forum I began arranging my bank account records accordingly i.e paying from my company's account to my personal account. All of a sudden scammers withdraw almost 1.5 from my zenith bank account according to the bank with up to 17 different transactions the same day but luckily I got 16 transactions reversed except the remaining last one which is worth 193k.

My question though goes thus: how best can I convince and explain in my next application in 3 months time that those transactions were not initiated by me,that it was an error from within the bank?

Thank you.

What’s the essence of paying from your company account into your savings account? Kindly enlighten me

Is this passport delay a general problem cos I have not gotten my passport back since June 04 dat I got refusal decision.

I mailed TLScontact and they responded that the embassy has not sent my passport back to them.

Does it normally take this long to get passport back after decision has been made or there is a particular reason for this delay in my own case?

Anyone with UK embassy contact email?

Send a mail to TLS... requesting for passport retrun ..they shall respond

Good morning all, I am new here. I have a concern about required funds. I am applying to 2 years MSc at Teesside University with 7,500pounds per year. I would like to ask if 5M is enough to gain visa?
