Same here. Withdrawal method failed us too. Hubby always mentioned that our first child will be up to 10 before we have another baby (baby 3) I was on family planning before (2months injection) but I stopped taking it for no reason at all, we were using withdrawal method for like 3 years before this one enter, it was exactly on my ovulation, though I took postinor 2 but God already had plans for my adorable baby on earth. Going for implanon FP at my 6 weeks appointment

This pregnancy came when I least expected as have been trying for a while, after which Ms started, it wasn't easy but before the 4th month I was good.
I went for scan last Wednesday, was told I was 34weeks5days instead of 37weeks and baby's weight 2. 6kg, it didn't even bother me cos I wanted to birth him at the last week of July and besides needed to put somethings in order.
LO continued with braxton hicks, turning and kicking. On Saturday, I rested all through till night when I cooked just a little stew then slept. Then the braxton hicks continued and intense that I do shout, at about 3am I woke up cos I felt water coming out, I was scared sha like is this labour or what and I started searching Google and praying that it shouldn't be labour as I still have things I want to do jor and besides baby is just weighing 2.6kg.
My people the water kept coming out but not gushing and I started feeling contractions, so I told DH and he asked if we should start heading to the hospital but I said No that when it's about 8am we will go just to check if the water is the amniotic fluid or something else as I still had faith that I wasn't in labour.
I got up at about 6am, washed clothes and then took my bath, this was amidst pains that I felt was normal and didn't want to believe they were contractions. I kept on like that till about 10am, then I told DH to put my bag in the car, he was like is it not to check, are you in labour already. I just said Oga put my bag for booth jor which he did and so we left as the hospital is quiet far from the house. If you are in Lagos, you will know Okota is not a stone throw to Surulere.

We got there, I told the nurse on duty what happened and that I wanted to see the doctor, she checked everything as usual and sent me to the doctor's office. Doctor checked my tummy and said I should go to the delivery room, he wants to do membrane sweep. He did and it was kinda painful than have ever felt before, I don't know what he told the nurse but she said I should get my bag and I asked for what, she said because am delivering today.
DH brought my bag and they pumped me and told me to change into wrapper. The contractions became closer and stronger, I was enduring it at first like I did with my 1st son but this pain was far more painful. I called the nurse to please help me oo, she came in and checked, said I was 5cm and later they checked again and said 6cm that I was progressing real fast and said by 6pm I should deliver and they left me in the labour room.
My people that was when I felt what people call Labour pain, ehhhh I was shouting Jesussss, Mother Maryyyy, Saint Gerald. At a time the pain would come and it won't even give me mouth to shout I will feel like passing out, when I saw that the pains were taking me somewhere else I started calling out to the nurses but pains no allow me shout wella. Chai I pity myself ooo. The pains I felt within that hour is not what I can describe.
After a while, there comes this great urge to poo and baby was pressing me seriously to come out, I was shouting nurse help me, I no see them o and was lying on a couch there, I saw stars, as God would have it the nice one among them came in and I shouted I want to poo ooo, she said Chai she went to give injection that I shouldn't be angry and was rushing picking things from my bag. She helped me to the delivery bed and the naughty nurse came in and said I shouldn't push yet, me that was already pushing.
They placed my legs well and said see baby's head, immediately I pushed and baby came out by then baby already gave me tears.
It was exactly 3pm as a wall clock was staring at me. Placenta came out, and the good nurse cleaned me up and begged that she has to give me injection so I would not feel the pains of the suturing. Ohh dem sew oo, I was on that bed till about 4:15pm was just shouting am weak o, am weak oo. After all the suturing I was helped back to the bed, I felt like fainting. I carried my baby and was just thanking God
Though I did not spend more than 5hours but the pains is not what I can describe.
Infact am still feeling pains but am a proud mama of boys.

I thank God and pray all pregnant mamas would find it very easy and everyone would have the course to glorify God.

My dear sister, such special babies, if you like put IUD, they will come out holding it in their hands . Like this my pregnancy, a family friend told my husband on 2 diff occasions that God said he was going to bless me with another baby very soon even though I wasn't ready for another. Me and hubby thanked her, but we were like, nooo, abeg no more babies for now abeg.

When I tested positive, you need to see how I rushed to my husband asking him to help me explain what I was holding (the positive pregnancy test strip). He was lost for words. On a lighter note, he said that perhaps God has played a fast one on us with all that prophecy about a baby coming soon.

But, I have learnt my lesson. Not gonna rely on withdrawal again biko before I born full house.

I was actually 37weeks according to LMP on that day but scan now said I was 34weeks5days and that baby was weighing 2.6kg. Even my first scan says my EDD will be 23rd July so I think the error is from this latest scan.

My sister you know when you are comfortable with a particular hospital, its kind of hard to change hospitals.

4th trimester has been wonderful as bobo rarely disturb. All he needs is breast and sleeping iyaff start. I pray he doesn't change because the brother showed me pepper.
